I am here with another ColourPop eyeliner review. In this post, I will be reviewing ColourPop Crème Gel Liner in the shade “No Shame.” So let’s see how this shade fared for me.

My Experience with ColourPop Creme Gel Liner No Shame:
ColourPop eyeliner come in two forms – Gel Pot and Gel Liners. The eyeliners come in two finishes – Matte and Metallic. I personally find that the gel liners way better than the gel pots. The ColourPop gel liner comes in a twist-up white plastic pen with a white cap. The side of the pen has ColourPop written on it in golden letters. The product comes in white cardboard box. The packaging is very light weight and travel friendly. The pen is super slender and sleek, which makes the storage easy.
“No Shame” is a true matte dark blackish violet shade. I love this shade. It is a great alternative to the jet black eyeliner. Since the eyeliner has a black mixed with purple colour, it looks black from afar but from near you can see the purple hue. This eyeliner brightens up my eye. The liner is water resistant.
The texture of the gel liner is very creamy for both the matte and metallic liners. You need to be very careful while applying this liner. Due to its creamy formula, the liner tends to break a lot during application, so make sure you don’t twist up a lot of product during application. It takes a while to learn how to apply these liners without breaking them. The liner glides so smoothly on my lower eye. I find the gel based formula very comparable to high-end eyeliners. The eyeliner dries very fast and once applied it won’t budge. The eyeliner is super pigmented and very opaque. One swipe will give you medium coverage and two swipe will give a full coverage.
The eyeliner stays on my oily eyelids for a good 6 to 8 hours. It starts to fade on the inner corners first, but that can be easily fixed by reapplying the liner. These liners are very long wearing. I can easily remove this eyeliner with an oil based makeup remover. I mainly use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup and it works really well. Overall, I am really impressed with this matte gel liner.
