ColourPop is killing it again with their new product!!! ColourPop launched their eyebrow pencil this year. They have a wide variety of shade selection in this range. Today, I will be reviewing the ColourPop Brow pencil in the shade “Dope Taupe.” Let’s see how the pencil fared for me.

Product Description:
A soft taupe – the most versatile of them all (this one really gets around). A super precise, self-sharpening mechanical brow pencil. This long wearing formula applies comfortably without any pulling or dragging. Its micro size tip creates natural hair like application for multiple brow looks.

How To Use:
Do NOT over advance the crayon– the crayon will not repel back down and this may cause the tip to break. The pencil has a twisted wire brush attached to the end for grooming brows and buffing out colour to soften your look.
Shades Available: Blondie, Honey blonde, Dope taupe, arched auburn, red head, Bangin’ Brunette, Black N’ Brown and jet set black.

My Experience with ColourPop Dope Taupe Brow Pencil:

When ColourPop launched their eyebrow products, I was super psyched. They launched brow pencils and brow pots. Their brow pencil is priced at $5 and brow pots are priced at $6. I already have a dark brunette brow pencil from L’Oréal. So, I thought I will try their brow pencil in the shade “Dope Taupe” for a more natural-looking brow.

This product comes is a retractable thin stick form. On one end, there is the brow pencil and on the other end, there is a spoolie. The cap on the product side is same as the colour of the product and the cap on the spoolie side is a clear cap. Please do keep in mind that the mechanism of the stick doesn’t allow to retract back the product. So, if you twist too much of the product out of the pencil, you will not be able to twist it back in. The brow pencil is an ultra-fine tip which allows us to easily draw the eyebrow outline and allows us to fill in the eyebrow easily with the brush strokes.

The texture of the product is creamy and soft, so it blends easily. However, if you apply too much pressure, it tends to break due to their soft texture. The colour of the pencil “Dope Taupe” is taupe light brown shade and it easily blends in with my natural brow hair and gives a natural finish to my brows. Since the texture is creamy, it does not give any harsh lines. We do not have to use a light hand with this product. This product does not budge and stays on my brow the whole day. The spoolie is quite good and sturdy and tames my hair perfectly. The spoolie also blends the product quite easily. The product doesn’t last long since there is only 0.09g product available.
