Price:
$5.00 USD for 0.07 oz.
Product Description:
Ultra metallic finish icy silver taupe …*ba dum bum koosh* This long-wearing crème powder formula has an elastic-like texture that is totally party proof. Avoid the fallout from traditional powder shadows and say goodbye to raccoon eyes! This feather soft formula glides on and feels freakin’ amazing. Super Shock Shadows come in a ton of kick ass shades in multiple fabulous finishes.

How To Use:
For maximum coverage, use the fingertip to tap shadow on the eyelid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush is perfect for detailed application close to the lash line. Using a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip the tip of the brush into the shadow and apply with a “windshield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow appear soft and diffused like a total pro! When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazing.

My Experience with ColourPop Koosh Super Shock Eyeshadow:

Packaging:  The packaging comes in a matte black round pot with a transparent screw lid. The lid has a holographic writing on the top – ColourPop. The bottom of the pot specifies the name of the product “Koosh.” The eyeshadow comes in a beautiful white cardboard box with rose graphics on top.

Texture and Application:  The texture of this eyeshadow is super creamy and buttery. It is a mix between a powder and a cream product. It is creamy to touch, but when you apply it on your eyes, it gives a satiny finish. This shadow has a snake scale-like pattern on it. Due to its texture, it is best applied with your fingers. Keep the jar tightly closed, so that the product doesn’t dry out. I didn’t have any fall out drying application of the shadow.

Pigmentation and Coverage: This eyeshadow is super pigmented. One swipe with your finger is all it takes to get full coverage. Since the texture is creamy, use a synthetic fluffy brush to blend the product. If you want to pack on the colour, you can use a dense synthetic brush. To get more shine, spray the brush with MAC Fix Plus, but I personally feel that fingers give best pigmentation and coverage.

Shade and Finish:  “Koosh” is described as an icy silver taupe shade in ultra-metallic finish and it is indeed a beautiful silver light taupe shade. Koosh will make a good over the entire eyelid shade. The eyeshadow blends flawlessly and the colour payoff is good. This shade will suit fair to medium Indian skin tone.

Staying Power:  The staying power is really good with this eyeshadow. It stays on for around 8 hours even without an eye primer. This eyeshadow doesn’t crease or fade on me even after applying the eyeshadow on my oily lids for the whole day. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

Pros of ColourPop Koosh Super Shock Eyeshadow:

  • Good packaging.
  • Cruelty free.
  • Good longevity.
  • No fall out.

Cons of ColourPop Koosh Super Shock Eyeshadow:
