ColourPop lip liners are known for their “glide on, smooth formula” products. I recently purchased three lip liners recently – BFF2, Bound and Viper. Today, I will be reviewing the shade “Viper.” So let’s see how this lip liner fared for me.

My Experience with ColourPop Lippie Pencil Lip Liner Viper:
Packaging: ColourPop Lip Liner Viper comes in a white cardboard packaging with the name specified on the end. The lip liner comes in a white plastic matte finish lip pencil with a white cap. The bottom of the lip pencil shows the colour of the lip liner. The lip shade is specified on the lip pencil in a holographic letters. I need to sharpen the pencil quite often since the texture of the lipstick is very smooth. The sharpening of the pencil leads to the wastage of the product. Since the lip liner has white packaging, the pencil attracts a lot of dirt during the sharpening process.
Texture and Application: The texture of the lip liner is very creamy and smooth. It is very easy to outline the lips and to fill the lips with this pencil. There is no tugging and pulling during application. The lip liner glides on smoothly and doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips. The application is very easy with this lip liner. The lip liner turns into a comfortable matte finish after the application.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lip liner is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: Viper is described as a ‘true dusty rose’ and it is a stunning brownish pink lip liner. This shade is suitable for all Indian skin tones.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lip liner. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply. You can easily wear this lip liner as a comfortable matte lipstick.
Overall, I am really happy with the color payoff, the texture and the longevity of the lip liner. The lip liner can be easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.
