Recently, ColourPop had made international shipping free for Mother’s Day, and I quickly ordered some lippies. Today, I am going to review their Lippie Stix in the shade Lady.

Product Description:

My Experience with ColourPop Lippie Stix Lady:
Packaging: It comes in a basic white cardboard packaging, with the brand name written in holographic design and the shade name at the bottom. Lippie Stix is a sturdy white tube, more like a pen. It is colour coded at the bottom. The top of the Stix pen makes it easy to identify the shade. The pen has a twist-up mechanism which makes it easy to use.
Shade: ColourPop offers many shades to choose from, which is really great. This shade is described as a red-brown, but it appears more like a proper brown colour to me, and this Lippie Stix is labeled as a matte lipstick. This is one shade which will work across complexions, it will be darker brown on fair complexions and work as a neutral on duskier beauties.
Formula: This lipstick is described as a matte finish, but I feel that it has a little bit of sheen and gives more like a semi-matte finish. The lipstick is very creamy and is smooth to apply, does not appear dry or patchy. The colour does not settle into the lip lines. It feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips for a matte formula. Pigmentation is good but not that awesome, it needs two or more coats for full coverage. The lipstick does transfer a little here and there. The lipstick does not settle into the fine lines or cling to the dry patches, which is really good.
Staying Power: The staying power of this lipstick is really good. It stays on for around 4 hours, and if applied with a lip pencil, it stays for around 5 to 6 hours on my lips. This product survives meals, but it does fade a bit after an oily meal.
Overall, I am impressed with the performance of this product, and how comfortable it feels on the lips. I will surely purchase some more products in the future.
