ColourPop recently launched their pressed eyeshadows. Their cream eyeshadows are really good but I couldn’t wait to play with these pressed shadows. These individual eyeshadows are great to mix and match. I got five shades from this range- Liar Liar, Made to Last, Stay Golden, Wait for It and Come and Get It. Today, I will be reviewing the shade Made to Last. So, let’s see how this eyeshadow fared for me.

Product Description:
This matte neutral mauve is here to stay. Highly pigmented shadow that applies evenly and feels ultra-velvety and silky. This long wearing formula contains a unique combination of softer powders which adheres easily to the eyes, gives a soft focus effect, and blends smoothly and evenly.
How To Use:
Apply with your favorite eye shadow brushes. Flat and firmer brushes will give the shadow the most color payoff on the eyes; fluffier brushes are great for blending. Use small angled brushes to use shadow to line the eyes.
My Experience with ColourPop Made to Last Pressed Eyeshadow:
Packaging: The pressed eyeshadow packaging is very cute. They come in a white sleeve with silver star graphic design. The pressed eyeshadow comes in a magnetic pan which you can easily pop into a Z palette. The back specifies the name of the eyeshadow “Made to Last.” The eyeshadows are placed in a plastic enclosure to protect them.
Texture and Application: The texture of the shadow is beautiful, smooth, soft and has a high quality. The eyeshadows come in two texture- Metallic and The matte shadows blends out like a dream and the metallic shades are beautiful. I prefer the matte pressed powder eyeshadows over ColourPop matte super shock shadow formula. However, I like the metallic super shock formula better than the pressed powder formula since they give a good foil finish. Application of the pressed eyeshadow is very easy with any brush that you have in your collection.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The eyeshadow is super pigmented. Matte eyeshadows blend superbly on the crease. The metallic eyeshadows are okay compared to their matte versions. However, you can achieve a super metallic eye look by using a setting spray. The pressed eyeshadow is a bit powdery and can lead to a lot of fallout. So, you just need to dip your brush in the product and it will give you pigmented eye look. You get a full coverage with this eyeshadow.
Shade and Finish: “Made to Last” is a beautiful neutral mauve eyeshadow. The finish of the eyeshadow is matte. This shadow will look great on the eye crease. The matte pressed shadows are on par with Makeup Geek eyeshadows. It is advisable to first start with the eye makeup since there is a bit a kick off with these eyeshadows.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this eyeshadow. It stays on for around 6 hours, even with a tacky eye primer. This eyeshadow doesn’t crease on me even after applying the eyeshadow on my oily lids for the whole day. Overall, I am very very happy with the product.
