ColourPop recently launched the lippie stix version to some of their famous ultra-matte liquid lipsticks. I really love their liquid lipsticks but they are a bit drying. I personally love their Matte X lippie stick formula, so I wanted to try these lipstick shades. Today, I will be reviewing their Lippie Stix in the shade “Mirror, Mirror.” So, let’s see how the lippie stix fared.

My Experience with ColourPop Mirror, Mirror Lippie Stix:
ColourPop Lippie Stix is one of their famous lipstick range. The Lippie Stix comes in 5 distinct finishes –Pearlized, Crème, Matte X, Sheer and Glossy.
Packaging: The packaging is a simple white lipstick tube with holographic writing on the side – ColourPop Lippie Stix. The side of the lippie stix specifies the name “Mirror, Mirror.” The product comes in white cardboard box. The lipstick has a white cap which clicks when shut. The packaging is very lightweight and travel friendly. The lipstick easily fits in my clutch due to its slender thin packaging.
Texture and Application: The texture of this lippie stix is super matte. Even though this is a matte lipstick, it glides on my lips very smoothly. There is no tugging and pulling while applying the lipstick. Over time, it does start to get bit drying. There is no fragrance to the lipstick which is good. This lipstick does transfer on to cups but it wears out quite evenly. These are one of the most comfortable matte lipstick that I have ever come across.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: “Mirror, Mirror” is a matte x lippie stick shade to the ColourPop famous liquid lipstick shade “Bad Habits.” The shade is described as a “dusty mauve pink” and it is a beautiful mid-tone pink lipstick. It is a perfect wearable shade for every day. This shade will suit all types of Indian skin tones. The finish of the lipstick is super matte.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 4 hours. If I pair this lipstick with a lippie primer and lip pencil, then it will stay around for 5 to 6 hours on my lips. The lipstick actually survives meals without ending up on my chin and cheeks like any other regular liquid lipstick. It starts fading evenly if you eat super oily meals. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off, the texture and the longevity of the lipstick. The lipstick can be easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.
