After reviewing a couple of liquid matte lipsticks from ColourPop, I’m back with the review of a highlighter from this brand. So let’s see how this product fared for me.
Price: $8 for 4.2g
This soft ivory gold you doughnut want to miss.
This long-wearing crème powder cheek formula is the BFF of our famous Super Shock Shadows; it shares the same unique texture that is extremely buildable and blends smoothly to leave the cheeks looking healthy.
My Experience with ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Glazed:
This beautiful product arrives in a very cute packaging. The outer box, which is white in colour, displays the colour of the highlighter, the name and the weight. However, the ingredients are nowhere mentioned on the package. The highlighter is packaged in a little plastic tub, which is very travel-friendly.
It is a beautiful pale gold. It offers exactly what I’ve been looking for – a beautiful sun kissed glow! The colour will suit warm undertones.
Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture is something I’ve never experienced before. It is unbelievably smooth, like a butter. Coming to pigmentation, it doesn’t give great pigmentation in one swipe, but more than 2 swipes will give the amazing ivory-gold dewy finish.
We all want our highlighters to give a radiant and gorgeous look and that’s what exactly this highlighter does. It gives a perfect light to my cheekbones. When I applied it for the first time, I couldn’t control myself from clicking selfies because it looks beautiful in bright light. The first swatch is subtle, but it can be built up to a stunning glow with 2-3 swatches.
It is best to apply this highlighter with fingers as a fan brush doesn’t help to pick up the right amount of product. Once you touch this highlighter, you will definitely go insane with its amazingly smooth texture. It’s not shimmery or glittery in a cheap way. It really makes you glow and gives you a beautiful glowy look.
It stays on pretty well – almost 8 hours – if I finish my makeup with MAC Fix Plus. I’m super impressed with the overall quality and how cheap this product is. I’ll be buying more shades soon as they don’t cost the earth like highlighters from high-end brands.
Pros of ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Glazed:
• Adds the perfect finishing touch to the face
• Gives a soft golden glow
• Lasts more than 8 hours
• Very handy and lightweight packaging
• Excellent colour payoff if applied with fingers
• Great price for a highlighter
• Quantity provided is quite a lot

Cons of ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Glazed:
• Doesn’t show up with a brush
• Very soft texture, liable to break
IMBB Rating: 4.8/5
Would I Repurchase/Recommend ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Glazed?
Yes to both. I haven’t been able to put it down since the day I bought it. This is now my go-to highlighter and I’ve cast aside all other highlighters. If you’re looking for a crazily pigmented highlighter which is affordable at the same time, you should definitely purchase this one.
