ColourPop introduced Supernova liquid eye shadow into their collection. The supernova shadow is supposed to be similar to the Stila liquid eyeshadow. Today, I will be reviewing ColourPop Supernova Eyeshadow in the shade Uf-Woah. So, let’s see how this shade fared for me.

We somehow bottled up high shine liquid metal, loaded it with glitter, and created an actual supernova for your eyes. This water-infused, super longwearing liquid shadow is extremely versatile and can work for so many looks, whether you want an all over base color, a touch of glitter, or extreme metallic foil. This high coverage and high impact shadow will send you into hyperspace….no fall out included.
Application Tips:
Supernova Shadows can be used in multiple ways!
As a base:
For extra oily lids, apply an additional primer first
Use the applicator to apply a small amount of product onto the lid
Use your finger or a our Small Shader Brush to quickly blend the product to create an even, thin layer
Follow up with your favorite ColourPop shadow
As a topper:
Using your finger, pick up a small amount of product
Gently apply the product onto the lid using patting motions
Alone:
For extra oily lids, apply additional primer first
Use the applicator to apply a small amount of product onto the lid
Use your finger or our Small Shader Brush to quickly blend the product to create a thin, even layer
For extra impact, apply an additional thin layer
My Experience with ColourPop Supernova Shadow Uf-Woah:
Packaging: ColourPop Supernova Shadow comes in a small transparent glass tube. The tube comes with a silver cap. The supernova shadow comes with a flat wand. This applicator is very flexible and bendy. The supernova shadow packaging is similar to ColourPop concealer packaging. Overall, the packaging is lightweight and travel-friendly.
Texture and Application: The texture of this eyeshadow is liquid metallic with full of blue shiny glitters. It is creamy to touch, but when you apply it on your eyes, it gives a super metallic finish. Due to its texture, it is best applied with a flat synthetic brush or your fingers. The eyeshadow dries down fast. so I would suggest working on a single eye at a time. I didn’t have any fall out during application of the shadow.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The eyeshadow is super pigmented. One swipe with wand is all it takes do get a full coverage. Since the texture is liquid, use a synthetic fluffy brush to blend the product. If you want to pack on the colour, you can use a dense synthetic brush. If you pack on this eyeshadow, then it creases on your eyelid. You need to pat this eyeshadow and build it up slowly.
Shade and Finish: Uf-Woah is described as an icy-rose with blue glitters and it is indeed a rose gold eyeshadow with beautiful blue glitters. Uf-Woah will make a good finish over the entire eyelid. You can also use this eyeshadow as a base or a glitter top coat on top of an existing eyeshadow. The eyeshadow blends flawlessly and the colour payoff is good. This shade will suit fair to medium Indian skin tones.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this eyeshadow. It stays on for around 6 hours even without an eye primer. However, the glitter does flake off after the 6-hour mark. Overall, this is a great alternative for Stila liquid eyeshadow and I really like this product.
