Skin Tone: Medium fair, warm undertones
Hello lovely ladies,
I have got three mini liquid lipsticks quite sometime back and totally forgot to share my reviews on the same. So, here comes my review Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in the shade “Bianca.” Read on for more details on this liquid lipstick.
Ultra Matte Lip This thin, lightweight formula smoothly glides on the lips leaving SUPER intense pigment with a bold, ultra-matte look. It is very long-wearing and 100% kiss-proof AKA no transferring!
500 PHP or 5.50 USD for 3.5 gm.
My Experience with Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Bianca:
Let’s start with the packaging of the product. The liquid lipstick come in a clear, cylindrical tube with silver detailing on it. The tube has a bright metallic silver screw on cap that closes very securely and makes the lipstick leak-proof and fit for carrying during travelling. There is a small doe-foot applicator attached with the cap. The applicator is soft and quite sturdy. It is not flexible and its sharp edges helps in giving precise lip lines. The see-through packaging helps to spot the shade easily from outside only. The shade name is mentioned on the side of the tube in silver fonts. The tube is sleek and does not take much space in my clutch. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.
“Bianca” is a beautiful mauve n*de neutral color. This is a pretty shade but it will only flatter fair to medium fair skin tones. It will wash out deeper complexions. The shade goes pretty well with my skin tone without washing me out. This shade is subtle and can be worn anywhere without a second thought. It also sets to a nice matte finish. It is so pigmented and it is capable of covering pigmented lips in a single swipe. It does not get patchy upon layering. It gives a mild cooling sensation to the lips. And it has a mild and non-bothering vanilla fragrance.
It has a thick and waxy texture, which dries easily while applying and hence causes a little dragging of the lips. It feels heavy and plastic kind of on the lips. This shade has a tendency to crumble and peel off easily. Also, this shade is quite pale and it has streaking issues, which can be managed upon layering, but layering leads to crumbling of the lipstick from the center of the lips.
This feels slightly heavy on the lips and has little stickiness in the formula. It absolutely is transfer-proof, waterproof and smudge proof. It is not at all moisturizing and lips feel dry on the lips. The color lasts for around 4-5 hours only and in the mean time the color peels off from the center. The lipstick does not survive meals and peels off when come in contact with oily food. Removing it is also a little difficult.
