My Experience with ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip – Highball:

This cute liquid lipstick tube comes in a white cardboard outer packaging. This outer carton has all the details about the product in black and silver. The lip gloss tube is a simple transparent plastic tube. The tube has a silver screw cap which has a long applicator wand. The applicator is typical doe-foot type. The wand is neither too long nor too short. It has the perfect size that facilitates easier application. The tube has the brand name written on it while the shade name is written at the base of the tube.

shade name

Highball is a bright pink matte lip colour with some bluish undertones. This shade will flatter fair skin tomes. The lip colour does not contain any shimmers. The lipstick is richly pigmented. It gives close to opaque coverage to the lips in just one swipe. It is just perfect for those who have pigmented lips. It gives full perfect coverage.

Coming to the texture of the lip color, the lipstick has slightly thicker consistency, and so it streaks a bit. Applying it is a little tricky. The added layer gives a wrinkled or streaky finish. It does not dry superquick and gives sufficient time to add layers but too much layering gives streaky finish. The lipstick gives ultra matte finish. This lip colour is easy to glide on the lips but keeping the lips properly exfoliated is advisable otherwise it clings to the dry patches of the lips and gives water colour kind of finish.

The staying power is great. It stayed for 6-7 hours with a little drinking. But it chips quickly with meals. The lipstick does not stain the lips. But you will need a good oil-based remover to take off the product completely. Overall, I am happy with this lip colour because I am a diehard matte lover.

Pros of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip – Highball:

• Good packaging.
• Nice applicator.
• Vibrant shade.
• Ultramatte finish.
• Amazingly pigmented.
• Stays for long.
• Can be taken off easily.

Cons of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip – Highball:

• Too bright shade.
• Tricky application.
• Chips with oily food.

IMBB Rating: 4/5
