I love Ultra Satin Lip formula from ColourPop cosmetics. I would be reviewing the shade “Magic Wand” in this post today. Let’s see how this shade fared for me.

Product Description:
High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day long. A light n*de for when you’re in the mood. A creamy, bold lipstick with a satin finish. This formula has the same high percentage of pigments as an Ultra Matte Lip but contains emollient ingredients for added moisture, keeping lips looking fresh and feeling super comfortable. Though this lipstick is super long-wearing, it is not completely kiss-proof and does transfer.
My Experience with ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Magic Wand:
Packaging: The packaging is a standard clear tube with holographic writing on the side – ColourPop Ultra Satin. The side of the tube specifies the name “Magic Wand.” The tube has a silver cap. The applicator is a standard doe-foot type. Overall, the packaging is lightweight and travel friendly.
Texture and Application: The texture of this liquid lipstick is bit mousse-y and liquid-y. The main difference between ultra-matte and ultra-satin formula is that the ultra-satins don’t dry completely matte. It dries velvety matte within a few minutes once applied on the lips, so if there are any errors during applying you can easily correct it. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips with ease. There is a chemical fragrance to the lipstick which personally doesn’t bother me. Another major difference between the ultra-matte and ultra-satin formula is that the latter does not give kiss-proof, budge-proof finish. It does transfer a lot; however, it is very long lasting. It is advisable to exfoliate your lips to achieve flawless finish. The ultra-satin formula doesn’t dry your lips and give a smooth finish. It is the most comfortable liquid lipstick.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives full coverage even if the lips are pigmented.
Shade and Finish: “Magic Wand” is described as as light n*de shade and it is indeed a very beautiful cool-toned light peachy n*de. This colour will complement light to fair skin tones. This lip colour will pair well with smokey eyes. When you first apply the lipstick, it will be satiny finish; however, it turns matte as the time passes by. You can also blot it with paper if you need an instant matte lip look.
Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply. However, it will start to fade if you eat oily meals. It does stain my lips pink.
Overall, I am really happy with the color pay off, the texture and the longevity of the lipstick. This lipstick can be easily removed with an oil-based makeup remover.
