My Experience with Colourpop Zipper Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick:

This liquid lipstick tube comes in a white cardboard outer packaging. This outer packaging has all the details about the product in black and silver. The lipstick tube is a simple transparent plastic tube.

The tube has a silver screw cap. The applicator is typical doe-foot type. The wand is neither too long nor too short. It is of the perfect size that facilitates easy application. The applicator is of good quality.

“Zipper” is a bright purple shade which would complement fair skin tones very well.  This shade is perfect for these winters. The lipstick is of perfect matte finish. It gives that gorgeous ultra matte finish, but this shade goes a bit patchy. The texture of this lip color is slightly thick. It glides easily on the lips and takes good 30-60 seconds to dry up, so you must be a little quick and careful while applying the lipstick.

This liquid lipstick feels comfortable on the lips, but layering makes it streaky and then it feels uncomfortable. The lipstick does not feel drying at all. It’s a highly pigmented lipstick and gives an opaque coverage in one swipe.

It’s completely waterproof, smudgeproof, and does not transfer at all, but it comes off with oily food and that looks really tacky.  Doing touch ups with this lipstick is a little difficult because it gets a bit patchy, so you will have to take it off completely and then apply a fresh layer all over again. The staying power is 5-6 hours. Overall, the shade is bold and pretty, but it’s a shade that you cannot wear everyday.
