The seasons are changing here and temperatures have gone up marginally since December. But, a lot of people are complaining about the early onset of spring as there are lot of ski resorts around and they are forced to close down due to the lack of snow, but I am not complaining. It doesn’t matter if its summer or winter the thing that remains constant in my routine is the regular use of flat iron as I have frizzy hair and during one of the searches I discovered Conair Infiniti Pro 1 Inch Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron.

My Experience with Conair Infiniti Pro 1 Inch Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron:
The first thing that I noticed when I saw this on display was the sleek and lightweight iron and as I had already done some research about flat irons, I came to know that this is one of the best-selling irons out there. I had a very good one from BaByliss 2099U Total Freedom 230 Cordless Straightener that I had got from UK, but as we moved to the USA, the voltage ratings didn’t support it and I had to sell it off.
It’s the lightest and sleekest hair straightener that I have ever come across. I like styling my hair, be it curls or straightening, so having the right tools and accessories is very important to me. I was very happy with my earlier tool, but when I came here there were so many options available that I was going crazy.
I had almost zeroed upon a GHD one, but my inner voice had doubts because that’s too expensive and I did not want to invest in something that I wouldn’t be using often. I finally found some really great ones from more common brands and they were not breaking my bank either. The choices were endless with various price ranges. Then, I found one that would work for the thin hair and is a best-seller. And, this is how I got this.
It’s the fastest heating flat iron I have ever tried and this gives a shiny look to the hair with lesser damage due to the tourmaline plates. These are an inch in width and due to that soft waves and curls can be created by this easily. Since, it heats up so fast, you don’t have to go over the same hair again and again. And, this helps in achieving great results. Once straightened, the hair stays put for 8-10 hours.
I use the Pureology Color Fanatic(don’t use the oil provided as it makes my hair very sticky) all over my hair for protection. But, any other heat protectant could also be used. I love the on/off button near the thumb when I hold it as it gives me more control. When I am done, I wipe clean the surface. It’s so light and slin that I have taken it during the trip to SFO.

Wow, thanks for the review Parmita. I was thinking about picking up their heated rollers, now I will go ahead 🙂
You can definitely pick them up Jomol, this is quite a reliable brand when it comes to hair tools 😀
I’ve always preferred the sleek straighteners over the wide ones (I have thin hair too). So, these types always seem the best. Thanks Parmita 🙂
😀 I know Jasmine the thick ones snag my hairs too, this is really good 🙂
I currently use a Remington one and totally love it. Might try some other tool from this brand.
