Today, I am reviewing the Conair ¾ inch Curling Iron. Originally, I came across this product on YouTube and even saw a couple of hair curling tutorials with this curling iron. Conair has one of the largest range of curling irons in the market. This is the first time I have bought a hair curler. As I have long straight hair, really wanted to change my look a little. I have straight hair and the texture is very thick and also a bit dry towards the end.
The Conair instant heat curler has a multi-layered chromium barrel and also has a clip to hold the hair in place. On the top of the curling iron is a black top which you can hold when curling your hair, it also comes with a counter rest. It has an On/Off button, but something very interesting is that it also has a Turbo Heat On/Off button for instant heat. The curling iron also has 25….yes that is right, 25 temperature setting, the lowest being from 1 to 8 and so on. Finally, the curling iron also has tangle-free swivel cord.
My Experience with Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron:
As mentioned earlier, I have long and straight hair and every time going to the salon to get curls was a real pain and not to mention was burning a huge hole in my pocket. That is when I finally decide to invest in curling iron and after going through a lot of options, I finally decided to settle on the Conair 3/4th inch wand. One of the most important reasons for going for a 3/4th inch wand was that if ever I needed loose curls, I could just brush my hair after I had curled them to achieve the desired result!
Honestly, this was the first time I was curling my hair on my own and let me give you a word of advice, it needs tons of practice, phew! The wand is cylindrical in shape so that you have even curls and the turbo setting mentioned earlier helps one get a quick result by heating up fast for it to used for difficult styling spots. The product claims to heat up really fast and this is indeed very true because while curling my hair, I accidentally touched the barrel instead of the round black tip and there was a slight blister on my finger.
Also, an important thing to be mentioned is while using this curling iron is that even if I used a little larger section of hair, I still had defined curls, so that was a huge plus for me. The curls also stay longer, here a tip to all the readers is that once you have curled a section of your hair, just hold it in the same position for a few seconds and then let your hair naturally fall down.
Pros of Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron:
- Has 25 different heat settings according to hair texture, one can use really low heat setting to very high settings. (I personally used setting no.15 as it was perfect for my hair type).
- The cylindrical barrel helps give uniform curls.
- Heats up very fast and also at the same time, once it is switched off, it also cools up equally fast.
- For the price, the results are amazing.
Cons of Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron:
- As the curling iron heats up very quickly, if you accidentally touch the wand, it may cause blister on your finger.
Do I Recommend Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron?
For the price, this product is very good and if someone wants try curling at home, then this according to me is a really good product.
