My experience with Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream:
I have used many essence type products with hyaluronic acid in it and so, I have always wanted to try out a cream with hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant and so, it will help our skin in retaining the moisture and help the skin stay hydrated and moisturized. One important thing to keep in mind while using Hyaluronic acid products is that if you use it alone, your skin might become a little drier than usual. If used along with good moisturizing products, then it will be super helpful in the skincare routine. This cream contains other ingredients which are moisturizing too and so theoretically, it seems like the best bet for moisturizing. Let us see how it fared practically.
This comes in a 100 ml jar and is larger in quantity compared to other Cosrx creams. The cream is white in colour and it does look like a regular cream in appearance.
The smell of this cream is quite similar to the AHA essence by the same brand though both of them contain different active ingredients. A small amount of the product is enough for the whole face and it is very easy to apply. The consistency of the product is very thin and it gets applied like a satin cream and it gets absorbed easily too. Though it appears very light, when applied along with other skincare products, it takes a while to get absorbed.
Once fully absorbed, it gives a smooth finish and dewy finish. By dewy I mean the light glow that u can get from the skincare products. For something more moisturizing one might need other products. It is not quite heavy at all and it is good to be used in hot summer too for dry to normal skin types. For combination skin like mine, I would suggest using it at night only during summer. In winter, I would suggest it as a second last step at both day and night.
Though it doesn’t give the feeling of a thick cream, it absolutely seals in everything like a sleeping pack. But, if a lot of product is used, it becomes heavy and suffocating and so, the quantity is the key.
I have combination skin and though this product is not recommended for my skin type, it worked well for me. It is neither too light nor heavy and I think it was the best for combination skin as a night cream. I used it mostly at night as I have said previously and it did not make me sweat like other creams and I adore those type of creams. The tub is really large and the product will definitely last me for a very long time.
Overall, I liked this cream for the fact that it was so good to my skin.

- A good lightweight cream.
- Contains hyaluronic acid though the percentage is unknown.
- Doesn’t feel heavy on my combination skin.
- Didn’t break me out.
- Quantity of the product is more and so will last a long time.
Cons of Cosrx Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream:
- The tub packaging. I would always prefer a tube packaging.
