Cover Girl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner – Blue Boom

Cover Girl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner – Blue Boom

Im not a big CoverGirl fan and I just bought this because they were comparing it with a liquid liner. I just wanted to give it a try. I had no expectations at all. I just wanted a good laugh.

Product Description:

With Liquiline blast, you’ll get all the intensity and staying power of a liquid with the ease and blendability of a waterproof pencil. Use the liner as-is for intense definition or smoke-it-out with the built-in smudger end for a subtle, smoky look.

My Take on Cover Girl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner Blue Boom:

This liner is super pigmented. Crazy pigmented! It could give the high end brands a run for their money. One stroke is all it takes to get the color on your lids. The liner is so soft; it feels like feathers are gliding over my eyes. (Talking about feathers, my dad bought me a parrot!) I was afraid to put pressure on it the first time I used it, because I thought I would break it.

It is slightly shimmery, and very vibrant. I agree this liner does have the intensity and the staying power of liquid eyeliner. It stayed on my eyes, without flaking or fading for good 6-7 hours. It did start fading a little bit after that.

This liner doesn’t sting on the waterline, nor does it move around. It stays in place all day. The smudger is amazing, very soft and easy on the skin. I didn’t feel any tug or pull; it glided on my lids just like the liner. It does an excellent job of smudging the liner.

The liner is very hard to remove. It’s waterproof. You need a powerful make up remover, because my eyes had literally turned red from rubbing it with a normal drugstore brand make up remover. Even if you remove it from the upper lash line, it’s still a pain in the back to remove it from the lower line. I still had some blue left on my lower lash line even after hours of rubbing. I think this liner is a little TOO pigmented.

Overall:

It’s a good pigmented liner that stays on all day without fading or budging, but it’s very hard to remove, so it makes me think twice before I reach for it.

Pros of Cover Girl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner – Blue Boom:

Would I buyCover Girl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner – Blue Boom again?

No, I wouldn’t. There are other excellent products out there; I would prefer the Lakme Glide On Eye over this.

  1. madhubala is pretty and so is the liner. u can try any baby oil to remove eye makeup. It’s more convenient, easier and very soft for the eyes.

  2. Wow! I love your eyes n how you have applied the liner! Is that your natural eye color? they are gorgeous 😀
Madhubala is too cute for words – I had a parrot n she used to only say my name 😀
