About The Product:

How To Apply:
1. Lightly press the Lipstain Pen against a hard surface to release color.
2. Define lip shape with the tip of the pen.
3. Brush entire lip with a light coat of color and allow to dry.
4. Repeat step 3 until desired result is achieved.

My Experience with Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain in Shade 402 Scarlet Pucker
I basically decided to buy this as I am always looking for novel products to try and the concept of staining lips instead of coloring lips really interested me.
I am not happy with this product. I decided to buy the shade “Scarlet Pucker” thinking that it would be a red shade since I am a huge fan of Red lips but this looked more like a very light reddish pink shade once applied.
Another biggest issue I have with this is, it is not for you if you have dry or chapped lips.It will settle in every little crease and accentuate it 10* more. I tried to apply lip balm first and then this and ended up messing up the sketch pen type applicator. It is not moisturizing at all.
Also it does have a long shelf life, the lip stain dries out just like any sketch pen does overtime and it gets really difficult to apply.
It does not apply evenly either. I dont know how but with me it gets applies more towards the middle part of the lips and less towards the corner so it I looked like someone who ate a lot of “paan”..!!.. Not a good look.
The smell and taste of it is very pleasant and sweet and it is very travel friendly. Considering all this I would not recommend this and I myself am never buying this again.

Hey Neha, lip stains are always a gamble and as you rightly pointed out definitely not for those with dry or chapped lips. But try the TBS one if you want to experiment with stains, its fabulous! I love the color of this one though 🙂
