I picked up the shade called “Soda” because it looked brighter than the others. Let’s see how this cute lip balm worked for me.

My Experience with Covergirl #7 Soda Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Lip Balm:

Packaging: The lip balm looks super cute in a glossy pink packaging with the name writer over it. The name “oh sugar” itself is very cute too. The lip balm packaging is colour coded and mentions the name at the base. The packaging looks more like a lipstick and not a lip balm which is great. It has a twist mechanism which functions nicely. The cap also closes with a click, hence no worries of the bullet getting ripped. The lip balm is very handy and fits into the pocket too. But the price is pretty high for a lip balm. I think we would get such lip balms at a much lower cost too.

Texture, shade and feel on the lips: The lip balm feels very balmy and buttery on the lips. It glides super smoothly on my lips, like any other lip balm. The texture is very soft; during my initial use, I opened the bullet too much and it scrapped off from the base, so yes, open it with care. The shade “soda” is a deep plum shade which is tinted. But it is highly pigmented and gives a boost of colour. It is a dull plum shade which looks gorgeous. It is suitable for all skin tones and every-day use. It does not feel waxy at all; it feels light on the lips and provides instant hydration. It gives the perfect colour, proper hydration and a glossy shine too.

Staying power: The lip balm stays on for an average time of 2-3 hours on my lips with the colour fading after 1 hour. If I eat or drink then most of the colour disappears like any other lip balm. It is a nice lip balm which I love using regularly, but it is pretty expensive as I said.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl #7 Soda Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Lip Balm?
Although it worked very well for me, I would buy their lipsticks instead at this price because this price is pretty high for a tinted lip balm.
Conclusion: They have a similar range of lipsticks that seem more pigmented so I will try those!
