Today’s review is about Covergirl Clean Matte BB cream. I don’t like using foundations in the current hot, humid weather as my skin becomes super oily and greasy, so I get hold of such BB creams. This one is designed specifically for oily skin, so thought of giving it a try. Read on to know how it fared for me.

My Experience with Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream:
Packaging: Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream comes in a white coloured tube with product details written in cute fonts all over it. The shape is sleek and flat, which makes it look even better, and it is very handy as well. It belongs to the “clean” range, and hence, it looks really clean and refreshing too. It is designed especially for oily skin, and my skin does become a little oily during summers, so this BB cream suits my skin perfectly. I find the price to be reasonable as some of the other good BB creams come at this price.
Consistency, texture and feel on the skin: The shade, I picked up is “fair”, which suits my skin tone well and provides the desired brightness as well. I really liked the shade range of this BB cream since they have 6-7 shades ranging from fair to dusky to suit every skin tone. The consistency is creamy and smooth. It is neither very runny nor very thick. It is just perfect for a BB cream. It goes smooth on the skin and feels very lightweight. It does not feel greasy or oily at any point. It does not feel dry as well.
Results and staying power: The BB cream has a medium coverage, and it gives a good coverage while hiding my imperfections and dark circles too. However, it works well in concealing the minor flaws only. The coverage will be better when applied with a brush rather than fingers. It provides a beautiful semi-matte finish, and my skin stays oil-free for a couple of hours. It does make the skin look even-toned and overall, I really love the way it beautifies my skin. It stays on the skin for good 5-6 hours and even more when topped with a setting/compact powder.

Cons of Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream:
- Does not give a clean matte finish.
- Limited availability in India.
- They test on animals.
- Application with fingers may not give as great results as a brush does.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream?
Yes. I might repurchase it if I order from the overseas market again. It is a decent BB cream and a really good option to try if you have oily skin.
Conclusion: Covergirl is yet to come to India. I hope they come with a counter and sell their products at reasonable prices the way they do in the overseas market.
