Hey my friends,
I am really excited to share with you all about my pressed powder from Covergirl. After my Lakme compact powder got over, I started searching for a good one and finally chose this one as I haven’t tried any Covergirl product earlier. I loved and was used to Lakme and was not very sure how this will suit me, but it worked great on me. To know more hit the down button.

My Experience with Covergirl Clean Normal Skin Pressed Powder:
My friend actually suggested Covergirl Pressed Powder. So, I thought of giving it a try and got the Ivory shade for normal skin. This shade suited me best. Packaging is actually regular, not that attractive. Like many pressed powders, this too has a round pan with mirror and a sponge. Even though it doesn’t come in a transparent lid, the shade given in the box is what exactly there is inside the packaging. Texture of the powder is sheer and gives an even and good look after application. It’s not cakey and ivory shade gives the best shade and complexion to my skin. It also blends easily with and without foundation. They claim fresh finish and that’s true. I love the finish and the glow I get from this. It’s like click a picture right away.
The scent of the powder actually troubles me. It is like some herbal smell. But that has to be endured only till we apply it. Then it’s gone for good. It smooth over pores, control oil and gives a bright look. So, paisa wasool for me. Keeps the oil away and maintains the look for good 2-3 hours. I am actually impressed with this. Overall, a nice pressed powder which stays true to its claim.
Pros of Covergirl Clean Normal Skin Pressed Powder:
- Gives natural finish.
- Controls oil.
- Staying power is good.
- Brightens face.
- Texture is sheer and fine.
- Does not give a cakey look.
- Avoids pore blocking.
- No breakouts.
- Nice shade and clean look.
- Blends well.
Cons of Covergirl Clean Normal Skin Pressed Powder:
- Average packaging.
- Contains parabens.
- Heavy scent.
This is a good pressed powder and it’s a great one for all combination skin people. It works out well. Gives good brightness and looks natural too. Those who have sensitive skin, they have a separate pressed powder for it. You can go for that one safely. They also have an oily skin powder range but this one is fine for controlling oil.
