I recently picked up a few eyeliners from the Covergirl Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner range. I have already reviewed the shades Cabernet and Truffle for you. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Jade.” Read on to find out how this eyeliner fared.

My Experience with Covergirl Jade Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner Pencil:
Packaging: The eyeliner comes in a pencil format. One end of the pencil has the actual eyeliner product while the other end has a rubber smudger. The color of the pencil coincides with the color of the product and in this case, it is a dark green color.
The eyeliner is not retractable and you will need a sharpener as the tip of the pencil is bound to get blunt over time. I personally do not like products that need sharpening as it leads to product wastage. But on the positive side, a pencil format makes the application very easy.
Shade/Finish: The eyeliner is true to its name as it is a deep dark jade green color. It has slight shimmer which gives it a nice sheen when applied on the eyelids. It is a gorgeous color and a very wearable one at that. It will suit most skin tones. The eyeliner is decently pigmented and shows up on my eyelids in a single swipe, but I do swipe it two times for that deep vibrant shade.
Texture/Staying Power: The texture of the eyeliner is fairly creamy. I did not experience any tug while applying it. It is not one of those extremely creamy ones that always have a danger of smudging. It sets pretty quickly and then it does not smudge or budge.
It stayed put on my eyes for around 6 hours, which is good considering I have oily eyelids. Of course, if you rub your eyes vigorously, it will fade a bit.
You will need a makeup remover to take it off. I also use this eyeliner on my waterline and it does not irritate or water my eyes, but the staying power on the waterline is pretty low and it completely disappears in a couple of hours.

This is a pretty decent eyeliner and I would surely recommend you to try it out if you like the shade. I already have a few more shades from this range and will not repurchase the exact one.
