I recently chanced upon the new “Stay Luscious” lipsticks from the Covergirl “Queen Collection.” I just cannot resist myself when it comes to lipsticks and hence I had to buy a few shades from the range. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Jubilee” for you. Read on to find out if I liked the shade and the formula.

My Experience with Covergirl Jubilee Q730 Queen Collection Stay Luscious Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a metallic gold tube packaging with a transparent cap. The name of the lipstick appears on a sticker on the side of the cap. The packaging looks a bit flimsy as we have seen much better packaging by drugstore lipsticks. The lipstick does not swivel all the way down inside the tube and there is always the danger of nicking some part of the lipstick while trying to put the cap on. Overall, I would say the packaging is strictly okay.
Shade/Pigmentation: “Jubilee” is a glamorous red shade with the slightest pink undertones. It is a lovely warm shade which looks good on deeper skin tones, but it is bright and not an everyday wear lipstick.
The pigmentation of the lipstick is strong and a single swipe covers the lips. I prefer applying two swipes to get a more even finish. Layering does not make the application clumpy.
Texture, Finish, Lasting Power: The lipstick has a creamy texture and applies smoothly on the lips. There is no tug at all and the formula feels comfortable on the lips.
The lipstick does not feel drying and does not cling to any dry areas on the lips. I did not notice any migrating or feathering even though this is a bright shade. The finish of this lipstick is a lovely satiny one.
The lipstick does transfer but not too much. This is being advertised as a waterproof lipstick which I assume means that it is supposed to be long lasting, but it is not all that long lasting. It stays for around 5 hours with light meals and drinks.
Overall, I found this lipstick to be good but nothing extraordinary.

- Beautiful red shade.
- Nice satiny finish.
- Creamy texture.
- Does not feel drying.
- Strong pigmentation.
Cons of Covergirl Jubilee Q730 Queen Collection Stay Luscious Lipstick:
- Lipstick does transfer.
- Staying power is average for something advertised as waterproof.
- Packaging is slightly flimsy.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Jubilee Q730 Queen Collection Stay Luscious Lipstick?
This is a good lipstick but not a must have. So, I would not recommend. I will not repurchase the exact shade but do have other shades from this range.
