I don’t have a lot of products by the brand Covergirl because I do not find this brand that fascinating, but ever since I saw an advertisement of this mascara in the latest issue of Vogue, I decided to try it out. More on this mascara follows:

My Experience with Covergirl Plumpify Blastpro By Lashblast Waterproof Mascara:
I have had my eyes on this mascara ever since I saw it in Vogue and finally I bought it as part of my recent drugstore haul. It comes in three different variations and even though they all would appear just the same, I decided to buy the one in shade “Very Black.”
Packaging: Cylindrical matte black tube with a red cap to hold the wand. The tube is generous in length and girth with a good amount of product for money paid. The brush is rather big and has spokes all around it in a spiral “DNA” strand-like fashion and these apparently are meant to add volume to the lashes.
The wand gets a bit of goop at the end of the brush, so one needs to wipe it against the tube’s opening to remove extra product. I found that it gives a better result when the wand is placed at the beginning of the lashes and when it’s rotated upwards rather than just in a plain sweeping motion.
Texture: It’s not very liquid-y or wet, but is rather goop-like; however, it does not create clumpy lashes and hence has perfect consistency.
Pigmentation: One coat gives an instant lift to the eyelashes, but to add more volume and drama, I have to go over with multiple swipes; however, I have used other mascaras in the past that impart better volume and give falsie-like lashes. The mascara in this post, gives an obvious length to the lashes, but does not provide much density.
Wear Time: It wears well for an entire day and has no fallout whatsoever. The other lengthening and voluminizing mascaras that I have used tend to have fallout, some more than the other, but not this one. Also, it does not clump my lashes or leave a grimy residue behind, which is a bit off putting. The only thing one has to be cautious about is that it’s better to take time when applying this Covergirl mascara or the brush bristles might poke in the eye and also it gives a better result if used in a rolling motion as opposed to sweeping it across the lashes.

- Provides length to the lashes in a couple of swipes.
- Has no fall out and does not crumble at the end of the day.
- Dries quickly.
- Adds a good curl to the lashes.
- Sweat proof and waterproof.
- Leaves no mascara goop or residue behind.
- Not that expensive.
Cons of Covergirl Plumpify Blastpro By Lashblast Waterproof Mascara:
- Does not add as much volume as I desired, it does add length to the lashes, but not as much volume as the brand claims.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Plumpify Blastpro By Lashblast Waterproof Mascara?
Not really because I like to switch my mascaras and try out new launches (which happens very often), but I do recommend it to all those who like to try out new and unique products to break the monotony in their makeup routine.
