I am a lip balm lover and like lip balms which impart a natural-looking glossy tint to my lips. Everyone has those “no makeup days” when you are just too lazy to even do a bit of makeup, so tinted lip balms such as this Covergirl Oh Sugar comes to rescue. I got a lip balm called “Soda” from Covergirl last year and loved it, so got 4 more cute lip balms from them again. Check out the shade “Punch” in this review.

My Experience with CoverGirl Punch Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Lip Balm:
The lip balm looks super cute in a glossy bright pink, square-shaped packaging with the name written on it. The name “Oh Sugar” itself is very cute. The lip balm packaging is colour coded and mentions the name at the base. This looks more like a lipstick and not a lip balm. It has a twist-up mechanism which functions nicely. The cap also closes with a click hence no worries of the bullet getting nicked. There are chances that these lip balms would break if too much pressure is applied. But the price is pretty high for a lip balm. There are a lot of other options available at lesser price.
This lip balm feels very balmy and buttery on the lips. It glides smoothly on my lips, like any other lip balm. The texture is very soft and during my initial use, I twisted out more bullet and it nicked off from the base, so yes, open it with care.
“Punch” is a bright reddish-pink shade. It looks absolutely pretty and natural on my lips. It is highly pigmented and gives a boost of colour. You know when you are bored of pink lip balms, this one would stand out since it is a pretty red colour. It is suitable for all skin tones and for daily wear as well. It feels light on the lips and provides instant hydration. It gives a nice colour, proper hydration and a glossy shine.
The staying power is 2-3 hours on my lips with the colour fading after 1 hour. If I eat or drink, then most of the colour will go like any other lip balm. It is a nice lip balm which I love using regularly, but it is pretty expensive for a lip balm.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend CoverGirl Punch Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Lip Balm?
I think I already have 5 of these, so I wouldn’t buy more. If you want a highly pigmented lip balm, then check this out. Covergirl has a different range of lipsticks, they will be much more pigmented, so I will try them now!
