Today I’m going to write a review for a pocket-friendly daily wear blush that can be wear to college and office easily. I was not a make-up person but when I got introduced to this wonderful IMBB beauty world, I understood its not about make-up, it is all about looking beautiful, enhancing your features and make up is not all about using tonnes of products on your face, its about 3R’s for me; Right Product, Right Technique and Right Tool. Now, Coming back to the review and not boring you all with my story 😀 lets see how this product worked for me.

Product Description:

I got 2 CG (Covergirl) classic color blushes for $9+ in Nov 2014. Prices keep varying so you need to keep an eye on it.

My Experience with Covergirl Rose Silk Classic Color Blush :

It comes in a normal packaging, with the product open to see the shade through its plastic cover, which is actually a good thing. The case is also tight enough to ensure that the product is not wasted. It has a push button, when you push the upper lid pops up and when you close it, you get that click sound. Like all other blushes, it also has a small blusher blush, which is useless. I really like this very light fragrance from the blush. This blush is ideal for daytime. Its like that classic smell that you get from your cosmetic bag. I use it almost everyday and its been a couple of months that I’m using it and the best thing ever happened is it did not cause any break outs on my skin. It is nicely pigmented but still I need a couple of swipes of it to get a nice satin glow. My skin is dry so it helps my face to look more alive. I apply it on my cheeks and gives a very gentle stroke of the blush on my nose, chin and forehead. It imparts a nice glow on the face. It is a nice blend-able product. But it lasts for 3 hours maximum after that it fades away leaving a nice subtle residue on your face. I have never done touch ups with the blush whenever I’m out; but still I always keep it with me in my handbag.

• Poor staying power.
• Over-swiping gives a powdery feel.
• May not look nice on dusky beauties.
• Price is tricky

No, because this one will last me long.

Would I recommend Covergirl Rose Silk Classic Color Blush ?

Yes, It’s a nice product to try for beginners and girls who want to play safe with blushes.
