It feels so good to be back to college life and meet friends and have fun but then what I hate is getting up early. 😉 Anyway, let’s get into the review now. So today, I am going to review this pressed powder from Covergirl. I used this product whole summer so that I can be true to the product and to you guys. Read on to know more about the product.

Product Description:
Designed with aquacurrent science, this conditioning pressed powder formula with chamomile creates a perfectly finished look that lasts. Special, light-reflecting ingreadients help minimize the appearance of imperfections for a beautiful, smooth complexion.
Use a velour puff, apply powder in a circular motion, avoiding eyelids.
My Experience With Covergirl Smoothers Pressed Powder:
The product is attached to a cardboard base and covered with plastic. At the back of the base, the ingredient list is mentioned. We can easily see the shade from outside. This pressed powder comes in 6 different shades, and if your complexion is between fair-medium, this shade is your perfect match. The case of the product is blue-black in colour.
On the top, the brand name is printed, and at the back of the case, a sticker carrying the name of the shade, the range and the quantity is present. As you open the lid, there is a mirror and a puff, which are provided with the product. 9.3 g of the product is provided, which is good.
The puff is smooth and applies the product evenly and also blends it well on the face. It gives a nice matte finish to the face. As my t-zone tends to get oily I need a pressed powder to mattify my face. The powder stays on my face for about 3-4 hours and then it fades. The staying power could have been better.
For a sheer matte finish, I apply the pressed powder with my buffing brush. It gives such a nice and fresh feel to the face. It has some sort of smell which is hard to explain but it does not irritate the nose; it’s very subtle, you won’t even notice it. It sets my makeup and does not let it melt down, especially during summer.
I carry this powder in my bag with me to college, because after some time, my t-zone gets oily, so I need to reapply the powder. The packaging is compact and fits in the bag easily. Apart from the staying power, the quantity and the finish are also amazing for the price.
I have been using the power for quite a while and it’s great for beginners. If you are just starting out with makeup make sure you have a nice pressed powder in your makeup kit. I use this every single day or I just reapply the powder whenever I feel like my face is getting oily.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Smoothers Pressed Powder?
I already have 3 of these, so I won’t be repurchasing. I would like to try new pressed powders but I totally recommend this one as it gives such a nice and fresh feel to the face. It also gives an amazing matte finish so you guys should definitely try this out.
