My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy Pear and Pink Magnolia:

The packaging reminds me of my childhood days when Borosil was used like a magic cream. This hand cream comes in a tube packaging with a screw cap. I normally would not prefer a screw cap since it’s not so convenient to close the cap and balancing the hand cream on hand. But here is an exception.

The cap is so cute and looks pretty when handling. I do not mind the screw cap at all. The shape of the cap is also multi-cornered so provides easy grip. The tube itself and the cap are made of plastic. The older packaging was metal but now they have changed it to plastic with a metallic finish.

When you first look at it, it feels like metal, but once you touch you realise that it’s not metal anymore. The problem with metal is the sharp edges when it’s in handbag. It can hurt if pricked by sharp edges. The plastic tube is easy to squeeze and the quality of plastic is high. It does not feel like a drugstore hand cream packaging at all.

The opening is pretty big for discharging the product. One needs to squeeze softly to control the amount of the product released. But once you stop squeezing, the remaining product near the neck of the opening is sucked in. The picture on the tube is also so pretty and I love this shade of pink. Lovely packaging!

The fragrance is so unbelievably good. The fragrance is a mixture of the sweet smell of pear and freshly cut roses. The fragrance is what makes me love this product so much. It is not overwhelming and is so soothing. I feel so relaxed when I smell this product. My kids always ask how I smell so good whenever I use any of the products from this range.

The hand cream is white in colour and very creamy in texture. It feels like butter. The hand cream spreads very well and gets absorbed easily into the skin. It does not leave the palm fully dry but leaves a thin film. This film feels very moisturising and in no way causes a hindrance in using smartphones or laptops.

The hands feel extremely soft and supple. This is undoubtedly the best hand cream I have tried till now. It’s also free of mineral oil, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol. My palms are extremely dry and this works best for me. Even though it’s expensive it’s a must-have for me. Love, love, love the product!
