My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Caribbean Island Wild Flowers Body Lotion:
The lovely body lotion comes in a cylinder plastic container with a metal pump base on top. The pump dispenser itself is black in color. The container is transparent making it easily visible the amount of product remaining. There is no locking the pump option available. Normally, there is an option to turn the dispenser to lock the dispensing operation, but this is missing here making it not feasible for travel. Overall, the packaging is good but quite bulky to travel with. I would never travel with such a big body lotion, but it definitely looks luxurious on the bathroom counter.
This body lotion is white in color and extremely creamy in texture. All Crabtree and Evelyn body lotions are very creamy in texture and amazing in fragrance. This product contains honey and hibiscus extract. It also claims to have antioxidants and conditioning oils. We all know how good honey is for skin and I love this fact and I am encouraged to use this product on my skin. As a kid, my mom used to apply hibiscus extracts on my hair. I trust moms DIYs and believe hibiscus is good for skin too.
The fragrance is the best part. It smells very floral and fresh. It’s a lovely combination of fragrance, especially for spring and summer. The fragrance lingers around for 2 hours or so after that the sillage is decreased. I could smell the product on skin by taking the nose close to the skin for almost 12 hours or more.
Coming to the nourishing part, yes it does nourish the skin quite well. It gets absorbed almost instantly and does not leave the skin oily or sticky. It might not be the best choice for colder months, but it’s a nice for normal temperature months. Overall, it’s a lovely body lotion which smells amazing and nourishes skin well.
