My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Caribbean Island Wild Flowers Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy:

The packaging reminds me of my childhood days when Borosil was used like a magic cream. This hand cream comes in a tube packaging with a screw-on cap. I normally do not prefer a screw-on cap since it’s not convenient to close the cap while balancing the hand cream on hand, but this is an exception. The shape of the cap is multi-cornered, so provides easy grip. The tube and the cap are made of plastic. The older packaging was metal but now they have changed it to plastic with a metallic finish. When you first look at it, it feels like metal, but once you touch it, you would realize that it’s not made of metal anymore. The problem with metal was the sharp edges.

The plastic tube is easy to squeeze and the quality of plastic is high. It does not feel like a drugstore hand cream packaging at all. The opening is pretty big for discharging the product. One needs to squeeze softly to control the amount of product and once you stop squeezing, the remaining product near the neck of the opening is sucked in.

I find the packaging very cute. The fragrance is manly floral with a slight hint of nuts due to the presence of macadamia oil. It also has notes of jasmine and mandarin. One can smell a mix of all these notes in the hand cream. The fragrance is a bit different, so it’s safer to sniff it in the store before buying. I personally like it and feel it’s very mild and does not really interfere.

The myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles. The product is free of colour, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, or propylene glycol. It also contains free-range goat’s milk, oat kernel flour and vitamin E which nourishes the skin. Since this hand cream is mild, I use it on my kids in winter months, and they love it!

The hand cream is white in color and very creamy in texture. It feels like butter. The hand cream spreads very well and gets absorbed easily. It does not leave the palms fully dry but leaves a thin film behind. This film feels very moisturizing and in no way causes a hindrance in using smartphones or laptops. My hands feel extremely soft and supple. This brand of hand creams is undoubtedly the best hand cream I have tried till date. My palms are extremely dry and this works best for me. Even though it’s expensive it’s a must-have for me. Love, love, love the product!
