My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Daily Moisturising Conditioner Verbena and Lavender de Provence:

Crabtree and Evelyn Daily Moisturising Conditioner Verbena and Lavender de Provence Front

The packaging of the conditioner looks old fashioned and dull. It comes in a plastic bottle, which is cream in color. It looks more like the bottle of an after shave lotion. The bottle comes with a screw lid, which is secure. The quality of the packaging is good. There is a plastic stopper at the bottle’s neck, which has a small nozzle through which the product can be dispensed by pressing the bottle. The opening is of the right size that it helps to control the amount of product while dispensing thereby, preventing product wastage.

The consistency of the product is semi-liquid and cloudy. It looks and feels like a slightly hardened coconut oil in colder months. The conditioner is slightly cream in color. The product is free of color, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol.

The fragrance of the conditioner is like coconut oil. In general, I love the smell of coconut oil, but not in this form. Precisely, the fragrance is a mix of coconut oil and after shave lotion. It’s definitely not for me. Since the fragrance is a personal choice, some of you might still prefer it. It’s supposed to smell of lavender but, I didn’t find or couldn’t recognize a hint of lavender fragrance as the other fragrance was overwhelming.

I apply a walnut-sized amount of the conditioner for my shoulder length hair. The conditioner is easy to work with. It spreads well and also washes away with ease. Post washing, my hair felt shiny and also slightly soft. But, the conditioner weighed my hair down. It felt like I needed a hair wash as soon as possible. The fragrance also lingers around for some time, and I felt it was a little too overwhelming. Also, I had to take a shower the next day to get rid of the smell completely, and also to give my hair its bounce back.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Crabtree and Evelyn Daily Moisturising Conditioner Verbena and Lavender de Provence?
I personally didn’t like the result after using it. It might work differently on different hair types. I have a feeling it would work well on dry hair.
