My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy:

The packaging reminds me of my childhood days when Borosil was used like a magic cream. This hand cream comes in a tube packaging with a screw cap. I normally would not prefer a screw cap since it’s not convenient to close the cap while balancing the hand cream in hand, but here is an exception. The cap is so cute and looks pretty when handling it. I do not mind this screw cap at all. The shape of the cap is also multi-cornered so provides easy grip. The tube itself and the cap are plastic. The older packaging was metal, but now, they have changed it to plastic with a metallic finish. When you first look at it, it feels like metal, but once you touch you realize that it’s not metal anymore. The problem with metal was the sharp edge; they could hurt.

Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy tube

The plastic tube is easy to squeeze and the quality of plastic is high. It does not feel like a drugstore hand cream packaging at all. The opening is pretty big for discharging the product. One needs to squeeze softly to control the amount of product, but once you stop squeezing, the remaining product near the neck of the opening is sucked in.

The color of the tube is lavender and it also hosts a picture of beautiful lavender flowers. I find the packaging very cute. Lavender is a fragrance which most of us love. Basically, lavender and vanilla fragrances fall in the same base fragrance category. The hand cream is totally floral. I find the lavender fragrance very soothing and relaxing. It lifts your senses and is perfect for summer months.

The myrrh extract helps condition nails and cuticles. The product is free of colour, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, or propylene glycol. It also contains free-range goat’s milk, oat kernel flour and vitamin E which nourish the skin.

Since it’s so mild, I let my kids also use it during winters and they love it.

Crabtree and Evelyn Lavender Ultra Moisturising Hand Therapy swatch on hand

This hand cream is white in color and very creamy in texture. It feels like butter. The hand cream spreads very well and gets absorbed easily. It does not leave the palms fully dry but leaves a thin film. This film feels very moisturizing and in no way causes a hindrance in using smartphones or laptops. The hands feel extremely soft and supple. This brand of hand creams is undoubtedly the best hand cream I have tried till date. My palms are extremely dry and this works best for me. Even though it’s expensive it’s a must-have for me. Love, love, love the product!
