Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel Review

Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel Review

Hello Ladies,

I like to have an array of bath products and choose one daily according to my mood and time. I think many of you can relate to me in this matter. You can never have enough of bath and body products. I am exploring the Crab Tree and Evelyn brand and picked a few products, one of them is “Lily Bath and Shower Gel.”

Product Description:

Caress and cleanse skin in one scented sweep with Lily Bath and Shower Gel. This delicately fragranced, gently cleansing gel creates a smooth lather in the shower, brilliant bubbles in the bath and a splash of luxury in your daily routine.  Lily of the valley, peony, magnolia and elderflower extracts help condition skin.  Contains moisturising glycerine.  Formulated without mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol or sodium lauryl sulfate.

$6 for 50 ml. $22 for 250 ml.

My Experience with Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel:

Its not easy to find a shower gel or shampoo without SLS that lathers really well.  This one is such a kind.  So far, I have tried some products from Crabtree and Evelyn and I must say most of them impressed me. One such thing is this shower gel.  It comes in a plastic bottle with flip open cap. The flip cap is a little tight which is a good thing when you travel with these and you don’t have to worry about product coming out . But squeezing out the product is a little difficult. You have to press the bottle real hard to squeeze out the product.

Crabtree and Evelyn

This smells so good and amazingly natural. I did not get any chemical smell at all.  As with most bath products, the smell does not linger for a long time after use. Nevertheless, you will get a very refreshing bath experience 😉

Crabtree and Evelyn 2

I have dry skin and it does leave the skin soft after use. Just a light body lotion after that would be sufficient. If I had to compare with The Body Shop shower gels, Crabtree shower gels are a bit better in quality than the TBS gels in two ways.  This one smells more natural, whereas TBS shower gels have a bit of an artificial fragrance to it. The other one is that, this shower gel leaves my skin a little more softer than The Body Shop ones.

Let me sum up the pros and cons:

Pros of Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel:

  • No SLS.
  • Smells very natural and good.
  • Lathers well.
  • Leaves skin squeaky clean and soft.
  • Easy to wash off and no slippery feeling on skin after that.

Cons of Crabtree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel:

If I have to find a con, then I would probably mention the flip cap design which makes it difficult to take the product out. Other than that, I totally love this shower gel and I have finished using it.

Final Word:

I finished the 50 ml bottle and planning to buy full size of this, waiting for some good sale to buy this again. I do recommend the Crab Tree and Evelyn Lily Bath and Shower Gel to all.
