Customize Your Hair Clip – D-I-Y

I am back with a DIY today. I had applied methi+yogurt hair pack and thanks to the power cut, more than 10hrs per day here and the UPS backup is also gone. I had nothing to do, saw the plain black clip and decided to try something on it.

I am into quilling these days and it is really addictive!! I have been preparing quilled cards for gifting friends. However, I decided to keep it simple for this clip. Let me show you how I made it.

Things needed:

1.Quilling strips.
2.Quilling tool.
3.Glue.
4.Any centre clip(most preferably plain).

Steps:

1. Take a red paper strip and put it between the needles of the quilling tool. Hold it vertically and twist it to roll the strip for 2-3 times to get a small thick round circle at the top of the tool.Remove the strip carefully and hold the coil tight and glue it.

2. Press it flatly to get a small petal like shape.

3 .Make smaller coils using the yellow strip.

4. Now,paste it on your hair clip using glue.

5. Make 4-5 flowers depending on the length of the clip.

6.Let it dry for some 20 mins.

Done:) Its so simple.!

Go creative as you wish and make your clip look lovely.

Tip:

It was really messy sticking the glue onto the clips. (you can see it from the pics,I had a great struggle)So,make sure the material of the clip is apt for doing this.
