How To Make Cuticle Oil – DIY

Hello Lovely Faces,

Winter is approaching and the time to have rough skin and dry cuticles is also here. Dry and rough cuticles look ugly and are very painful too. So, I decided to invest in some good cuticle oil and hence was reading reviews for the same. After reading so many reviews of cuticle oils from different brands, I noticed that the ingredients of all the cuticle oils are more or less the same and stuff which I can find easily at home. So, I decided to make my own cuticle oil.

Here are the things one needs to make their own cuticle oil:

  • Almond oil.
  • Vitamin oil capsules.
  • Essential oil of your choice.
  • Bottle or container to store the cuticle oil.

While seeing the cuticle oils from different brands, I loved the ones that come in nail paint bottle packaging.  They are very convenient to use, but cleaning a nail paint bottle seemed very time consuming and difficult work, so I skipped that. Some cuticle oils come in eye drop kind of bottle also.  One can easily find such bottles at home, just clean it and use to store the cuticle oil, but when using this, you need to use your fingers to massage the oil on nails and skin around, which can be a bit messy.

The other option can be using a lip gloss bottle.  The lip gloss brush here can be used to apply the cuticle oil without making the hands or fingers dirty. This one is really convenient to use but filling the oil inside this can be a little tricky; however, if you use a dropper, then poring oil in this bottle will be very easy. So, select any container based on your preference. I used an eye drop bottle and a liquid sindoor bottle to store my cuticle oil.

Now, let’s see how it is made:

    • Take 2 table spoons of sweet almond oil, 4 capsules of vitamin E oil, and 5-6 drops of essential oil of your choice.

That’s all, and your cuticle oil is ready.

Use it every night before going to bed and you will get freedom from rough and painful cuticles. Try this to get beautiful nails and hand without making a hole in your pocket.
