Dabur Keora Water Review

Dabur Keora Water

Hello Cupcakes!! How are you all doing??

Today I will be reviewing Dabur Keora Water. We all have heard of Rosewater being a good toner but ever heard of Kewra water. Kewra water is an extract that is distilled from pandanus flowers. I am sure you all have heard of pandan leaves; a very common ingredient used in South East Asian countries. Kewra is a transparent liquid, almost similar to rose water. We all know of Kewra water as a good flavoring agent. Kewra is said to have excellent antioxidant properties. Just like rose water, Kewra water too is good for skin. Kewra water is used for getting glow, soft & healthy skin. Let us see how this Kewra water faired.

My Experience with Dabur Keora Water:

There are various types of floral waters that we use in cosmetics and skincare products, rosewater being the most common one. Likewise we have Kewra and jasmine too with equivalent excellent properties. Dabur Keora Water comes in a long tapered plastic bottle just like rosewater. It only comes in one size of 250 ml. The Kewra water is crystal clear and has no added colors. It has a nice fruity floral fragrance; some may not like it as it is not as pleasant as rosewater or jasmine water.

Like rosewater, Kewra water also has good toning properties. Also Kewra oil (called ruh Kewra) is commonly used as attar. Kewra water is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores and thus prevents acne and pimples. It has astringent like properties and closes open pores. I use it after washing my face as a toner and also alongwith my packs. I never use plain water for my packs…:-P. It has to be rose water, Kewra water, green tea or plain yogurt. I have been using it for the past one month and it does a good job just like rose water as a toner. When applied alone it removes all dirt from my face efficiently, but it does not remove make-up if used alone. It also helps in controlling oil and keeps my face fresh and shine free.

Overall it is a nice substitute for rosewater, with good cleaning and toning properties. But hey at the end of the day nothing beats our good old rosewater.

Pros of Dabur Keora Water

• Good cleanser. Removes dirt and impurities efficiently
• Acts as a goo toner
• Closes open pores
• When used with face packs, gives a nice glow to face
• Very affordable
• Fruity fragrance

Cons of Dabur Keora Water

• Fragrance is not as pleasant as rosewater
• Does not remove make-up
• Not easily available
