Vatika has recently launched a few new shampoos and I picked two of them. Today, I am going to review on Dabur Vatika Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. Now, let’s get into the details.
INR 115 for 180ml
My Experience with Dabur Vatika Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:
Vatika Anti-Dandruff shampoo comes in a yellow plastic bottle with a flip flop cap. Bottle is nice and it’s in travel-friendly size also. This shampoo comes in various size options so, it is really good to buy a travel-friendly size. This is quite affordable and easily available product as well.
Shampoo has nice light yellow colored medium creamy consistency that glides well on hair and the formula is good enough to create lather quickly with few massages. It is also easy to rinse as well. I like the formula and I only need a small amount of product to work with. Now, the shampoo contains 7 amazing natural ingredients that are excellent for hair and very popular hair care ingredients in India as well. Also, it has a nice fresh fragrance of lime.
I have pretty oily scalp with normal hair. So, it works quite well and deeply cleans my hair too. It helps to clean dirt and impurities from hair and makes hair clear and fresh. It also reduces the greasiness on scalp without making it dry. I usually love overnight oiling and it cleans oiled hair easily with two washes itself. Also, I never notice any extra hair fall after using this, but it can’t control hair fall too.
Now, it does its job well to reduce dandruff and makes my scalp clear too. During winter, I often face this problem and the shampoo helps me to clear them out deeply with few washes. It can’t work as a treatment for dandruff, but gives a nice temporary result to clean them.
But, this shampoo can’t provide good hydration to hair. Unfortunately, my hair feels dry and unmanageable after using this shampoo and also, it looks a bit lifeless as well. I always prefer smooth and soft hair and I naturally have such smooth hair. But, this shampoo makes them rough and it can’t control frizz as well. I always have to use a conditioner and serum after this shampoo to make it manageable. It is not good for dry and damage hair and also, it can’t repair hair as well.
According to its name, it does the initial claim, but it is not a good nourishing shampoo and it can’t provide any great result to hair. I don’t like the rough lifeless look on me. But, it keeps my hair bouncy and I can style my hair easily. My hair definitely looks fresh throughout the day. Only, as a less hydrating product, I don’t like it much. Otherwise, as a anti dandruff product, it does its job well.
