Dabur Vatika Olive Enriched Hair Oil Review

Dabur Vatika Olive Enriched Hair Oil Review

Hi,

Hope all of you are doing good, I had a great weekend.  Finally, I had learnt swimming after 23 years!!! It is a great feeling 🙂 I still remember how as a kid I used to be so adamant and did all sort of things to avoid swimming.  My uncle was a very famous businessman in our district and also a swimming champion.  He used to coach the boys in schools in our district for free!! He promised to buy me anything if I learnt swimming and used to throw us into the pool.  Me and my young sister were the only ones among our cousins who never learnt swimming.  He passed away a few years ago due to cancer and now I think of him after I have learnt swimming.  Just in 3 sessions, my hubby taught me how to swim, I am so happy 🙂  Okay, now let me come to the product.  After I read Neha’s article yesterday on the best olive oil treatments, I wanted to review this oil which is my current favourite.  Read on to know why.

My Experience with Dabur Vatika Olive Enriched Hair Oil:

I wanted a good hair oil and was going through all the oils in the supermarket.  I was convinced to try this after reading the claims of this product.  A few variants have already been reviewed here.  This is by far the best hair oil I have used till date.  I have used many types of hair oil including homemade oils and Cantharidine hair oil too.  It is a change from the regular coconut and amla oils.  The oil comes in a big plastic bottle with a wide mouth which makes it difficult to control the amount of oil to be dispensed.  The oil is dark green in color and smells pleasantly of olives.

The smell is so natural and makes me feel that I am doing something good to my hair each time when I apply this oil. The oil is of runny consistency.  It feels so light on hair.  It makes my hair noticeably soft and shiny.  I can feel that my hair is healthy whenever I use it.  I think it also helps in controlling hair fall, but it might be because of the homemade pack which I am following religiously for the past one month.  Even my hubby has started to like this oil and I am using this oil once in two days and before shampooing. Overall, I am happy with this product and would be getting it again for sure.

Hair oil

Let me sum up the pros and cons:

Pros of Dabur Vatika Olive Enriched Hair Oil:

  • Feels light on hair.
  • Makes hair soft and healthier.
  • Smells divine.
  • Goodness of Almond, Cactus and Lemon.
  • Gives volume to hair.
  • Reasonably priced.

Cons of Dabur Vatika Olive Enriched Hair Oil:

  • The wide mouth of the bottle makes it difficult to control the amount of oil coming out.
