  1. And I am the first to comment…yaaaayyyyy. Castor oil is good..stinky..but good…need superstrong superman shampoo to get that out of your hair too!!

  2. castor oil is used by people who are constipated…good for bowel movements…so ppl with that problem can come forward to claim the prize as well!!!!!!! πŸ˜€

      1. Mrun….I was just trying to add to the tip…reallly πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ :giggle: :giggle: :snicker: but it got totally out of hand O:-) O:-)

  3. Wowww…such speedy witty remarks from all you jealous females and one person who has a donkey for an avatar eh..I was thinking of sharing my good fortune with you all..but now..NO MORE…no stinky oil for anybody!

    1. *sends the full drum to Radhika and watches with interest as she tries to find a place in her home to keep it* too much of a good thing I say… 😎

        1. Oh Sush…join in…today’s bakra is Radhika…………though we are both malayalees…..we all have voted her to be “Bakra of the day” πŸ˜€

    1. please dont even mention bout neelabringhadi…..!!!!!!! eeeeyuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!! :dazed: :dazed: :dazed: :dazed:

  4. This is too much…tooo much. That’s okay..I am a mature sensible person who can take a bit of leg-pulling and hair-oiling…I shall deal with this in a very sensible way.

    RATIIIIIIIIII πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯

    1. Radhika……don’t cry dear……….there will be so many constipated people around, you can divide it with them as welll πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

          1. HD….neelibhrigandi is a hair oil that is made from the same herb and it aids for quick growth of long hair…..but whenver I apply that oil, I start sneezing uncontrolably…..though it has worked for me and prevented hair fall and oil, but I catch cold with it…. πŸ™

              1. Yes, Rati….it kind of works like that………….its a blue colored oil made from neelibhrigadi…actually, my sister got it from kerala and my tenant saw me applying the oil and asked what it was. When I told her it promotes hair growth and all, she asked for some…..after a while when I was sneezing, I saw her sneezing too!! πŸ˜€

              2. It happens Rati.I too sometimes catch cold when I apply oil on my hair.It happens to people who have some kind of cold allergy Sometimes they sneeze constantly as a result of being affected by cold and this kind of cold allergy can be triggered by very small things and people who are susceptible can be affected anytime.

        1. The first thing he asked was a cup of tea. πŸ˜› Can’t complain coz he prepared breakfast for me and even cooked his lunch. πŸ˜›

He was serving drinks to all of you. :rotfl: :rotfl:

      1. Would you believe he hasn’t thrown away that bottle. He cleansed it and now we store water in that bottle. Can’t believe this.

        1. gee……..we had such fun today Rati, your husband has such a great sense of humor. πŸ™‚

@Sanjeev……savoring till even the last drop vanishes???

      1. Sanjeev, I thought she broke the last one after hitting you with it……I have Rati’s number, I might as well message her to forget about buying the wooden one and buy a metal one instead……. πŸ˜€

              1. :rotfl: :rotfl: You see the other ear has been twisted intentionally so that he listens from one ear and then follows it. πŸ˜› I guess you must try on your hubby as well. Works. :rotfl: :rotfl:

  5. Radhika…….I know poor thing…both of us malayalees, no potatoes in our food, so we can just as well apply the entire castor oil to our hair only……poor thing……sorry but I cant help without adding a little bit masala to my comments, hope you wont mind πŸ˜€

  6. JOMOL…..no potato..what do you eat then???????? Naaah I don’t mind πŸ™‚ I am worried though Rati is going to land up in the evening and read through all this and get started on belaning all of us into :panda: :panda: :panda: :panda:

        1. @Sanjeev….I am an environmentalist at heart…..think if we all start eating potato…contamination o πŸ˜€ f air…air pollution…………nope…..I will stay away!

      1. Wowww…life without potato. What do you make potato chips out of then????? And the fries???? OMG…you could be starving Jomol..malnutrition. You need to get to a McD ASAP!!!!

  7. You got it right Sush…..might be the reason……

@Sanjeev…..I will be glad to send her one across from the Air Force CSD canteen, sasta or tikau……… πŸ˜€

  8. What kind of a sick anti-men person would have invented a metal belan in the first place? She was trying to kill all married men or something? :curse: :curse: :curse:

          1. Sanjeev…remember, we are “weapons of mass destruction”….we are to be handeld with care…..belan is an answer for all the AK-47s and RDX in the world πŸ™‚

  9. Just noticed…You all voted me Bakra…oh well its an improvement from what my hubby has decided I look like :cow:

    1. There’s a cure for that. Go home for a week. Let him cook his own food, find his things around the house himself, and grapple with the maid. You would look like a starlet after a week. πŸ™‚

      1. Nope I decided I have married an alien…the guy stayed about 8 months alone and used to post pics of his dinner every other day – the house was a mess of course..but the dinners were damn tasty..the pics at least looked yummy!

        1. hmm… πŸ™‚ well, we are learning to cook in case of contingencies. Btw, I cooked the breakfast today and I am sure Rati wasn’t complaining. πŸ™‚

            1. This gives me an idea you know… the day she decides to shop, I shall cook her meal in castor oil and watch her running to the loo…. (Jomol, I hope the trick works)

              1. Oh my God………don’t do that to her, I will tell her to add vim liquid bar to all your vodka and beers……then what will you do…and I will also tell her to cut off the water supply to the bathroom before doing that!!! :snicker: :smug:

        2. Radhika…I think we are on the same ship….(not boat)…my husband cooks better than me and he decorates it and does allllll that

  10. whoever invented it…we are all glad, its easily available in the market…….. πŸ™‚ …I guess one hit is enough

  11. Nope Sanjeev not kill them…just scare them enough to stop asking dumb questions like “You paid 1850 for a what?????”

    1. Radhika…what did you buy for 1850….just reveal…so that I can also tell my husband there are others who spend like that on a single item (non-significant)

  12. Errrr…….you all have turned against me…..I am human and I love potatoes but not to the point they burst out of the intestines…………………………..I love allooo ka parathas and alooo kurma…now I feel like a bakra! πŸ˜₯

    1. I eat aaloo because my hubby doesn’t eat anything else other than “an” aaloo and I for nothing on this earth is going to cook 2 separate things for dinner.

What is aloo kurma? Sounds like a surma? :beauty:

      1. Rati, aloo kurma is a potato curry usually taken with puri….love that curry….you should try that….. πŸ™‚

          1. Oil + mustard + urad and chana dal (if you have them put it or leave it) + curry leaves (if you have put it) + ginger chopped + onion. Fry fry. Haldi. Add cooked/boiled Potato. Salt. Fry fry. Add water. Leave to boil/simmer. When it gets thickish..taste…yummmm. Add corriander leaves if you wish to.

Oh but I forgot to tell you …the for truest taste, use coconut oil πŸ˜€

              1. Nooo Rati..dont use coconut oil…that’s used a lot in Kerala cooking though..but I dont like the taste myself..especially for non-mallu food.

                1. he he… okz. πŸ˜› I love coconut burfis and coconut water though. πŸ™‚ I need to take these tips and tricks for all the south indian food. That’s my fav cuisine. :eat:

  14. Rashmi this was your question “is it like equal quantity of oil drops n eye drops???”

You do not mix the oil with any eye drops..just take an old (not being used by anyone) clean eyedropper to put the oil on your scalp.

    Please..someone help me here..I am dying laughing…

        1. I can think two names for our kids:

Lakme Kumar- For my son. I shall make him a politician. He will be a cheap person but appeal to the masses.

Lotus Kumari- In case it’s a girl. She shall be full of quality but not readily available even when people are asking for her.

  16. I dont believe this…she decides to mix castor oil and eye drops and apply to her scalp and she gets ignored…. :idk:

      1. Sanjeev…potatoes daily…think about our environment…global warming, etc………..I suggest you start eating something less gaseous πŸ˜€

    1. I think you should take badla from Sush… She should not have mentioned castor oil in the tip… she could have mentioned.. ummm… Olive oil, don’t you think? 😎

      1. I will agree with Sanjeev on this…..all your anger should be channeled against Sush…she should not have mentioned castor oil at all. See, I was just trying to help all the constipated readers…..I am so innocent…I was only sharing knowledge :weep: :weep:

        1. oh no jomol dont get misguided…. ur target wasn’t me…… Da is only trying to mis lead u…. think he cant take it any more !!!! after eating alu in lunch…. remember global warming…he he… 😯

  19. Oh Radhika……you are revolting…that means , there is a double chance of your name getting picked up again for nomination……. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

  20. Sanjeev…..Except elevating your mood / spirit whiskey has all detrimental effects.

If taken in large quantity it would tell upon your Liver, kidneys & digestive system.

If taken moderately it takes away nutrients like Vitamins / Enzymes in the process of its passage out of the body.

Someone also wrote in yahoo answers that side effects of whiskey are: Tickets, vomit,Time in jail, and waking up next to Godzilla the next morning.!!!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

      1. Honey you are gorgeous. And you look doubly so when I am two pegs down. It must be a girl on Yahoo answers. :pirate: :pirate: (Jomol bacha liya aapko, don’t forget to say thanks) πŸ˜›

  24. I am also going to sponsor another drum of this laxative alled astor oil for Radhika….i guess she will need it the most!!!!! :beauty:

    1. Astor ” German-born American fur trader and capitalist who became the wealthiest man of his time in the United States.”

I am guess the astor oil will give Radhika some protective fur that would save her from the “donkey (ahem!)* and potatoes . :rotfl:

Jomol which side are you? :rotfl:

    1. Much better..I was wondering why is Jomol saying “needs”…this looks like its is never going to die this topic :-(( If you ever have an IMBB meet Rati, I am boycotting. I don’t think I can handle this much leg pulling in public, you know face to face…and that potato..she will not sit quiet..I just know it…. :-(( :-(( :-(( Heyyy..forgot to tell you..saw the bent-eared donkey’s name on the TBS site….http://bodyshop.cyberspace.in/what_our_customer_say.php

  25. OMG…

I missed every bit of fun here..This is what happens when you are stuck in “Hartal’s Own Country” without even a proper internet connection..sigh.

And Rati, in honour of your dedicated Mallu readers, please name your 3rd baby using the classic Mallu naming formula…

  26. Hi,
I used castor oil for head message., but it was little heavy for my hair, and it increased my hair fall due to friction.
I stopped using it, though now I use it to thicken my eyelashes. And it worked like a charm.
