Jomol Asks :

Heylo Everyone!!!!

I am planning to get a hair straightener, but before that, I would like to get a heat protectant. I asked Kimi and she told me she uses Giovanni. What are the other available brands in India…err…I mean brands that are available in online shopping websites. Please do let me know.

  1. Jomo, Tony and Guy makes a good one and Giovanni is good as well…if you want to get something really strong I say you buy pro salon brands as they are more likely to be thicker, like L’oreal pro or Schwarzkopf and Paul Mitchel, they are pricier but much more efficient, at least that is my experience.

    1. Thankoooooooooo Debo….you are a darling :puchhi :puchhi: :puchhi: so many options you have given……… :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

      1. Np jomo :giggle: :giggle: Tony&Guy, Giovanni, Charles Worthington you can get at Health&glow others at hair salons, but beware that heat protectants are just a workaround not a solution and not infalible, the heat will still damage your hair so follow up the ironing with some deep conditioning :specs:

ha jomo, everything is good when in moderation O:) also if you want to try straightening it without heat if you hair is wavy its also very easy and no damage whatsoever :victory2:

          1. Rati try to roll your hair with rollers its also a good non damaging way to get curls, if your hair is too straight just make is 70% wet then use some curl activator on your hair and roll the velcro rollers till your hair is dry and it will work :snicker:

  9. Umm…I don’t use heat protectants…but judging by most of the reviews I’ve seen, there are quite a lot of options. :haanji: Like,Tony and Guy,Giovanni, L’oreal pro or Schwarzkopf and Paul Mitchel. :pigtail:

  10. I swear by Liese’s Iron make. They have ones specially for straightening or curling tools :victory2:
but i don’t think they sell in india

  11. Hi Jomol,
I recently bought the Schwarzkopf heat protectant (the name is some Pro Styling), it caters upto 200 degrees.
It is in a transparent bottle with a pink spray cap.
    Its consistency is like water.
You spray it and then you can iron your hair. It costs approx 600 bucks for 200 ml.

Trust me when I say this, IT IS FANTASTIC. It makes your hair so lustrous, so glossy (just like they show in commercials).

Some useless crap I want to share ::
I am totally in love with it since the day when my bf, friends and myself were out for an evening. I had to go early so I bid my goodbye to all. I had left the mall, my bf came out especially , moved his fingers through my hair (to check if they are real) and said “bye Beautiful” (Something you cant expect from him.)
