Dark Chocolate Honey Face Pack For Oily Skin – DIY

I was so tempted after reading Somreeta’s post on chocolate facials that I decided to give a quick “chocolatey” clean up for my face. I used the chocolate and sugar scrub and this chocolate honey face pack.  So, let’s see what do we need for this yummy face pack 😛

  • Dark chocolate – 1 bar or 1 spoon (if you are using chocolate in the powder form).  I had dark chocolate powder in stock, so I have used the powder.  Its easily available in supermarkets.
  • Rice powder – 1 spoon.
  • Honey – 2 spoonfuls.
  • A mixing bowl.  I have used my son’s new snack box, just to have some fun 😛

As we all know the goodness of chocolate on our skin, I will not talk about it, but wondering why I have used rice powder?

I am oily skinned and I came to know that rice flour is best for oily skin.  Also, rice flour is the best kitchen ingredient to treat blemishes and pigmentation. It is also used as an anti-ageing ingredient. Besides this, rice powder has good exfoliating properties. This also helps in making your skin look brighter and healthy.  You may use besan if you wish.

Procedure To Make Dark Chocolate Honey Face Pack:

    • Take the dark chocolate powder, rice flour and honey and mix them together.  Add a little water to get a lighter consistency and there you go!

  • Apply it on your face. Sit and relax. Wash off with lukewarm water after 15 minutes.

This is the most relaxing and effective face pack and I love it. My skin looked fresh and bright.

Note:  Dry-skinned girls can replace rice flour with oats and curd/milk.
