Today I am going to review one classic fragrance from my perfume collection. I love spending on fragrances, I think they are like an investment to make you feel more happy. You are bubbly and cheerful all day when you spritz those scents all over you. I think most of you might have tried the Davidoff fragrances and here I am with another gorgeous smelling perfume. Let’s check it out.

Product description by fragrantica: Cool Water Frozen by Davidoff is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women. Cool Water Frozen was launched in 2001. Top notes are pineapple, amber, peach, jasmine and rose; middle notes are blackberry, vetiver, lily-of-the-valley, quince and lotus; base notes are orange, sandalwood, black currant and water lily.

My take on Davidoff Cool Water Frozen Fragrance for Woman:

I purchased this fragrance because I really liked the original version. The name frozen fragrance gives a very fresh and breezy feeling. The product comes in a nice curvy bottle in icy blue colour and looks very aquatic. The cap is silver coloured and the bottle is made up of glass so wouldn’t call it travel-friendly. The bottle is a see-through one so you can make out the quantity left. The fragrance is an amazing musky and a powdery one. The moment you spray it, it is just you and the fragrance all around! The fragrance power is very heavy and the people around you can surely smell it. It has top notes mainly consisting of rose and peaches with a chilling hint to it. These were the only two notes that I could recognize. It is a blend of floral and fruity notes hence it is a good one to try out.

The staying power is okay; It lasted for about 3-4 hours of me and genuinely saying I do not sweat a lot, so I wish it had lasted more. It lasts more on the skin than on the clothes. I would say that the fragrance is not that extra-ordinary. I mean we have sniffed it around. It is a day time fragrance not really suitable for night-outs or so. It is a pure summer one and gives a fresh feeling when sprayed. I don’t like using it during winters and monsoons because everything is connected to water and breeze and again spraying the same kind of perfume would be something I don’t prefer. I think it was good at beating the original Davidoff version; I think this one smells better.

Pros of Davidoff Cool Water Frozen Fragrance for Woman:

-The bottle looks stunning with an icy aqua colour
-The quantity is really good which may last for around 6 months to a year
-The fragrance is a blend of fruity and floral notes
-It has a musky fragrance and a powdery scent which stays for around 3-4 hours
-It smells like a blend of peaches and rose both cool and breezy
-Better than the original cool water version according to me
-Great perfume for day wear especially for summers because it is crisp and fresh
-Hardly 3-4 puffs are needed to be ready to go

Cons of Davidoff Cool Water Frozen Fragrance for Woman:

-The fragrance may be a little mild to some people
-I wish it stayed a little longer

Will I repurchase/recommend it?

Not really! I like trying new fragrances and this isn’t that great to become my HG fragrance. I would rather get something like Miss Dior spending a little more. This is one of the scents to try out during summers and all big fans of Davidoff cool water, do try this out to shift a bit from the original version!

Conclusion: I think that is all with Davidoff! I quite like the fragrance but that was great for a couple of months. Now I am bored of it. It is a very aqua and a watery fragrance and I am more into those girly and fruity fragrances, so feminine fragrances I am coming to lay my hands on you.
