Davidoff Cool Water EDT is one of my favourite perfumes, one that I religiously stock up. I love aquatic scents and my search for a similar scented shower gel ended with Davidoff Cool Water Gentle Shower Breeze. It boosts of the same aquatic fragrance as the iconic Davidoff Cool Water EDT with top notes of blackcurrant, pineapple and honeydew melon blending beautifully with floral heart notes of lotus blossom and water lily, followed by base notes of citrus and woody scents giving it an uplifting ocean feel.

Price:
$25 for 150 ml. I have seen them available online at prices starting from Rs. 1700 for 150 ml in India.

My Experience with Davidoff Cool Water Gentle Shower Breeze For Woman:

This shower gel comes in a simple transparent aquatic blue plastic tube with a flip open cap. It is highly travel friendly due to its compact sturdy design and doesn’t leak at all (yayy!!). In fact, it is my favourite travel shower gel and it has never let me down. Also, since the gel is not very thick, it can be easily transferred to a TSA approved bottle/tube in case you are traveling by flight.

If I have to describe this product in one word, it would be “amazing!” The product itself is a transparent runny blue gel with a luscious aquatic fragrance. It is highly soothing and I especially love the way the scent surrounds me in the shower. It lathers well with a loofah, something that is a must for me in shower gels. It takes only a few drops per shower and a little does go a long way.

The gel washes off easily without leaving any greasiness. It leaves my skin hydrated with a fresh aquatic scent which lingers for some time. I always follow this up with a matching scented moisturizer to retain the scent longer. It perfectly lives up to its name; it reminds me of the feeling of being out in the clear blue ocean waters with cool breeze surrounding me. In short, it leaves me feeling fresh, clean and ready to take on the world. Any day, if I am stressed out or feeling a bit low, it serves as my instant stress buster and mood “uplifter.” So, this is essentially my most favourite for all “pamper-myself-with-long-shower-days :P”

• Easy to wash off, doesn’t leave behind any greasiness.
• Soothing fragrance, not overpowering.
• Lathers well, which is the one thing I look out for in shower gels.
• Packaging is compact and easy to use.
• Paraben-free formula.
• Highly travel friendly, can also be transferred to a TSA-approved bottle tube.
• Long lasting, a small amount does go a long way.
• Keeps skin hydrated.
• Does not cause any skin irritation or rashes.
• Suitable for all skin types.
• I find it to be an excellent mood uplifter and stress buster.

Cons of Davidoff Cool Water Gentle Shower Breeze For Woman:

• The only con I can think of is the price. Personally, I feel that the numerous pros including the fact that it is long lasting definitely makes it a worthy buy.
