My Experience with Dear Packer Home Remedy Mask Egg White + Lemon:
What I love the most about these exclusive sheet masks is their amazing and colourful packaging. This one has lemon and leaves printed all over it. The sheet mask comes in a thick foil but tearable sachet.
Moreover, these sheet masks do not come in the regular rectangular packaging. The sachet houses all the information regarding the sheet mask. In addition to this, the name of each remedy is written in the centre for easy accessibility. Overall, the packaging is super travel-friendly and easy to use.
Texture, Consistency and Fragrance:
The mask is made from microcell sheet. It is thinner than other sheet masks I have used. I have a round face and this one fits perfectly. It does not feel heavy on the skin. As you can see, the mask is completely soaked in the essence, but somehow it is not dripping wet. This is another plus point as compared to other sheet masks.
The essence is quite slippery and thick, but not sticky. Though I wasn’t expecting any trace of egg in the fragrance, still was very keen for the fragrance of this sheet mask. To my surprise, the fragrance is quite citrusy. It is mild, warm and refreshing.
I am more into clay masks but also invest in sheet masks as they are easy to carry and use during travels. This sheet mask is also easy to use; you have to tear open the sachet, unfold the sheet mask, and place it over your face and rest for 20 minutes.
I kept it on for 30 minutes and then gently pat the remaining essence on my face. Even after 30 minutes and under the fan, the sheet mask was still moist enough. Usually, I use a sheet mask at night while doing some work or watching a TV series. Hence, I am always under the fan when using a sheet mask. The best thing about these sheet masks is they are lightweight and do not get dry too soon under the fan.
I always keep the sheet mask refrigerated for 15-20 minutes prior to the use. It provides a nice cooling effect to the skin. I had irritated skin around my nose and under the chin when used this mask. When the sheet mask was on my face, my skin had a tingling sensation for initial few minutes at those spots, but it wasn’t something uneasy. Thus, if you have broken or irritated skin, then soothe it with a calming toner first.
After removing this sheet mask, there was a lot of essence sitting over my facial skin. The skin felt and seemed wet, but not sticky. Moreover, the essence got absorbed into the skin super easily upon patting. After a few minutes, the essence sank deeply into the skin, making it velvety but hydrated. I loved the after effects of this sheet mask.
Since the essence made my skin velvety and I loved that, I didn’t cleanse off my face with water. Usually, I do this after 20 minutes to prevent any breakouts or over moisturization of the skin. Moreover, it didn’t cause any breakouts and the skin was little less oily the next morning.
This sheet mask does brighten up the skin, but then again not like how a real egg white and lemon pack does. It effectively tightened my pores around the nose and the effect lasted next day as well. This sheet mask made my skin hydrated enough, providing a velvety smooth finish. Still, it won’t do any good for blemishes in single use.
