My Experience With Dear Packer Plum Seed Sleeping Lip Mask:
The packaging of this lip mask is to die for. It comes in a pretty baby pink cardboard box with a pretty design of lips, plums, honey, flowers, and trees with the name embossed in gold on it. The lip mask comes in a pretty transparent tub with a magenta screw lid. The product is so thick that it would be difficult to dispense from a tube and hence, the tub makes sense. However, a spatula should have been provided for hygiene purposes. It does have a thin lid on top as well to preserve the product. The inside of the cardboard box also has details provided in Korean. It has minimalist instructions on the top, while the back has information like ingredients, directions for usage, price, etc. Overall, the packaging is chic and classy.
The actual lip mask is light pink in color. It has a very thick, balmy texture. It is thicker than Vaseline. It almost feels waxy. It has a sweet fruity fragrance that does not linger for too long. The application of the product was a bit tricky in the beginning. I had to swirl my finger a couple of times so that the heat created would allow the product to melt a bit. After the first use, it became easier to pick up the product and apply it. It does tug the lips a slight bit as it is quite thick, but it covers the lips really well. I use it after I am done with my skincare routine and avoid applying anything on my lips except this.
It does not transfer anywhere onto my pillowcase, which is a pro for those who move around a lot during the night. The first night I applied it, it felt like a regular lip balm. On the third or fourth night, I could feel the texture of my lips changing. My lips became super soft in the morning. It can be removed by simply splashing the lips with water and massaging off the excess. Overnight, this balm sinks into the lips. It not only nourished my lips but also promoted the growth of new skin that filled into the cracks on my lips. My sister tried it and experienced similar effects. It is a really good product for people who regularly wear liquid and matte lipsticks. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.
Pros of Dear Packer Plum Seed Sleeping Lip Mask:
• Nice and thick nourishing balm
• Does not transfer anywhere
• Product will last a long time
• Contains no harmful ingredients like parabens or colorants
Cons of Dear Packer Plum Seed Sleeping Lip Mask:
• Tub packaging is not hygienic; at least a spatula could have been provided
