It’s chilling here and I am enjoying every bit of it with my hit chocolate mug and cookies. I know I am putting on, but I always do in winters, but honestly I don’t mind. It’s only for 2 months, so I can indulge. My recent haul got me some essentials and one of them are lip liners. I wanted to try a new brand and hence I picked up the Deborah Extra Lip Pencil #02. Though the shade looked to be more neutral on the online swatch, but in person, it is a plumy pink with silver glitters which are so tiny that they are almost invisible.
The latest pencil enclosing an innovative long-wearing waterproof formula. With color that stays true all day long, a consistency that glides on instantly and effortlessly and a texture that is amazingly comfortable. Dermatologist tested.
Deborah Extra Lip Pencil #02 comes in a pencil form. The body is a black plastic one with all details printed in gold. The body color is the color of the lip liner shade. The pencil is really creamy and requires sharpening after almost every use. The cap is muted gold in color and though it does not shut with a click, the cap closes tightly and hence has no chance of getting spoiled while travelling.
This pencil is really creamy which ensures that it glides smoothly on the lips. Though the pencil is creamy on application, it settles down pretty soon and stays for a long time after that. Due to its creamy texture, the pigmentation is really nice. Only one swipe is enough to define the lips. Though there is silver glitter, they are so minute that they cannot be felt and does not affect the texture of the creamy pencil.
My Experience with Deborah Extra Lip Pencil #02:
I have a tendency to keep looking for new stuff and if it does not hurt my pocket too much, I tend to pick that up. When I was browsing an online shopping site during the online shopping festival, I spotted this and I knew I had to try one from this range. The swatch looked a bit muted online, but I zeroed on this as I wanted to be on the safer side.
The other colors looked too bold or too dull. I was slightly disappointed when I spotted the silver glitter, but they are only visible when I am in the sunlight or I take a close look at the swatch. I have tried to show the glitter in one of the swatches, but they are not at all gritty or over the top on application. Overall, it is a nice creamy lip pencil and you can definitely try it if you are an experimenting person like me.
Pros of Deborah Extra Lip Pencil #02:
- Stays on for a very long time.
- Goes well with so many shades of lipstick.
Cons of Deborah Extra Lip Pencil #02:
- Silver glitter.
