Deborah Milano 24 Ore Eyeliner Pen – 01 Intense Black
Felt tip eye liners are a life saver for me. My eternally shaky hands can’t thank them enough, for saving them the time and energy that needs be spent in creating the perfect line. I almost always never used eyeliners, save the pencil ones, but even that used to be time consuming. And a winged eyeliner was nothing but a distant dream for me, till the day I came across this wonderful thing known as the felt tip liner. Ever since, I’ve been a fan. And I’ve tried a couple of them. I saw this on an online portal and I couldn’t stop myself from getting it. Read on to know if it was any good.
Price: I got it for Rs. 344.
Product Claims:
- Precision-tip eyeliner pen for mistake-proof control.
- Long Lasting: 14 hours
- Precise: flexible felt tip applicator
- Quick and easy tip: precise tip, ergonomic handle
- Convenient: about 500 applications
- Intense: full color and covering
The diameter of the flexible felt applicator is 0.4 mm, so it glides on easily leaving a perfectly continuous line, neither too thin nor too thick, without smudging. The ergonomic grip makes for quick and easy application.
My Experience with Deborah Milano 24 Ore Eyeliner Pen in 01 Intense Black:
The shade is black, not the blackest of black, but black nonetheless. First stroke of the liner does not appear as dark as I would prefer. So, I always follow up with a second, and sometimes even a third stroke to increase the color intensity, because that’s the way I prefer my liners.
The pointed tip makes it an easy application and it moves on smoothly on my lids. I like to keep my eye liners pretty close to the lashes and the pointed tip helps me do exactly that. The tip though pointed, is soft, very comfortable to use. Drawing a somewhat thicker line is also super easy. You just have to position the tip right. The pen itself is pretty comfortable to hold, just the right diameter.
I like the fact that it dries up super quick. It takes seconds to dry up, which is good, because I tend to mess up my liners during the drying period.
Next up is the staying power, which is super awesome, that is if you don’t have extremely oily lids. It stays put for 5+ hours on normal lids, which I think is pretty good.
However, there’s one thing. This eyeliner pen is not waterproof. A drop of water and poof, it does the vanishing act. So, if you are one teary-eyed doe, stay away from this one. However, even with water, a slight stain remains. So, you’re going to need a nice makeup remover to remove it completely.
Also, I do not use it on my lower lash line, because for some reason, great as the staying power might be on the upper lids, it refuses to stay on my lower lids for a very long time, which is fine with me, as I only prefer kohl there.
Pros of Deborah Milano 24 Ore Eyeliner Pen in 01 Intense Black:
- Staying Power is good.
- Dries up pretty quick.
- Very easy and comfortable to use, both the tip and the body of the pen.
Cons of Deborah Milano 24 Ore Eyeliner Pen in 01 Intense Black:
- Not waterproof.
- Not the intensest of black, if that’s what you’re looking for.
- Does not stay put on my lower lashes for a long time.
IMBB Rating: 3/ 5.
Will I Repurchase Deborah Milano 24 Ore Eyeliner Pen in 01 Intense Black?
If I am done with this one before the winters end, I might get another one. In summers, my lids tend to be oily, so I’d stay away from this particular pen at that time.

Nice review sushmita……. felt tip liners are such a great thing for beginners like me. I have been using Maybelline Hyper sharp felt tip liner. It has great staying power. I’m not able to remove it even after using a face wash. Requires makeup remover/olive oil for removal. Though Slightly costly than Deborah.
I haven’t tried that one Aastha. Will definitely try:)
These eye liners are serious life savor, I might try it after the Maybelline one finishes 🙂
Do try Swathi and lemme know 🙂
i like the pointy tip 🙂 but i wished it to be more intense 🙁
It’s not as intense as I prefer my liners too, Swati, but as I increase the number of swipes it tends to get darker 🙂
No no…I want my liners to be waterproof. Not for me 🙁
😀 . I know Kadambari! A lot many of us only prefer waterproof liners and mascara. Come summer and I’m one of them too:)
