Hello Beautiful People,

I think I am slowly settling down in Chennai and to maintain my sanity in the mess of shifting, I kept on playing with makeup.  So, wait for lots of reviews and tutorials in the coming days. Saying that, today I have an eye pencil from the house of Deborah which was a lovely parting gift from a sister-friend. The shade number is 07 which is pretty grey shade.

My Experience with Deborah Milano 24 Ore Waterproof Eyeliner #07:

Texture:

The eyeliner is creamy in texture and glides on the lid with minimum effort. There is no waxy feel on the lids which happens with some creamy pencils. There is no shimmer or glitter on the pencil. Being a twist up pencil, the creaminess is much more compared to the wooden liners. I quite like it as the creamy texture helps in precise one stroke application. Though this can be used as a shadow base, I found it quite difficult to blend.  Half of the pigmentation is lost while blending the shade. As of now, I am sticking to using it as a liner or a base for eyeshadow, not an eye-shadow in itself.

Packaging:

It is a twist up pencil which comes with a smudging tip and a sharpener. Though I do not use it, I believe people who prefer ultra thin lines can find this handy. The body color is that of the shade in actual. The smudge tip is protected with a transparent cap. It is like one pencil in your handbag and you are sorted. Lining, smudging, sharpening, no hassle.

Pigmentation:

Very pigmented and gives one stroke defined line. No need to go over and over again to build up the intensity of the shade. On the contrary, if you swipe multiple times, you might end up having a cakey line.

Staying Power:

The staying power is really nice. I do not have a habit of touching my eyes and thus it stays on my lids forever. Though the intensity decreases at the end of a long day, but nothing like a patchy uneven liner.  The shade is matte grey and people with black/brown eyes should pair it with a bit of black. Either in terms of mascara or water-lining/tight-lining or else it might look too pale. I pair it with bold pink lips to keep the eyes understated.
