Happpyyyy New Year to everyone!!! I hope you all enjoyed to your heart’s core on the eve of December 31st (and slept with equal fervour on January 1st *hihi*).

So, the product which I am going to review today, is, Deborah Milano 24 Ore Velvet Wet and Dry Eyeshadow, in the shade Apricot.

Packaging and Price:

The Deborah Milano 24 Ore Velvet Eyeshadow comes in a cute plastic triangular case, with a transparent lid on top (no mirror, sadly). There is a small applicator, which is hardly of any use. You can use it for touch ups though, if you need it i.e.
It comes at a price of Rs. 395/-. I got it at Rs. 375/- online.

My Experience with Deborah Milano 24ore Velvet Eyeshadow – 04:

The shade which I got is 04 – Apricot. It is a very nude and peach kind of a shade, with very minute glitters. It can be worn alone for a natural look, or as a base for bolder colors on top. The shade is excellent as a base.

The texture of the product is creamy and velvety, and it spreads and blends fairly easily, either worn alone or when worn with other shades. I use my Colorbar eyeshadow brush with this and it goes on my lids beautifully with that.  The shade when worn dry is not much pigmented. However, you can use it dry when you want it as a base. Its long lasting, and will make the top shade more pigmented and lasting. When worn wet, its a beautiful peach brown kind of shade which is perfect for a no-makeup look in the day time.

The staying power is fairly good. I haven’t tried it for 24 hours (obviously!!), but it has stayed for a good 4 hours on my oily lids. For people with non oily lids, the staying power will be more.

Coming to the pros and cons:

• The applicator is average.

Yes, if you want a  nice day wear shade and a good base for your dark eye shadows, this is a very good choice. Go for it.
