Trio eyeshadow palettes come in very handy when you have to quickly do your makeup and you can just toss it your hand bag. Most of the trio shades can be used in a lot of versatile ways if they have a light highlighter shade. On the go, you could touch up your brow bone, high cheek bones, cupid’s bow etc with the same eyeshadow. This Deborah Milano 04 is one such palette with some light and dark shades, but it comes with its own drawbacks. Read on for more details:

My Experience with Deborah Milano 4 Smoky Eyes Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow:
This comes in a nice sturdy palette with a sponge tip applicator. Though I prefer to pack on such shimmer shades on the lids, I think using a fluffy blending brush would be like smearing shimmer all over your eyes. These shadows work best with a sticky eye base under it. It needs to be patted with a flat brush. For the darker gunmetal shade, you could fluff it out after drawing your crease/contour.
The light pink shade could be a great highlighter color for lighter skin tones. I don’t find chunky shimmer or fallout in it. The silvery shade is perfect for the lid. It does not have chunky shimmer either. It can be patted on the lid.
The gunmetal grey can be used to define eyes as a liner or to use in crease or lower lash line. With this palette, there is not chunky glitter or shimmer, but the metallic notes may smear if you don’t pack it on. It lasts fairly well for me, on a base for over 4 hours. It also feels smooth to use by fingers and has minimal shimmer fall out.
The pigmentation is good enough as well, may be not the smoothest or the finest you might have used but still good.
Pros of Deborah Milano 4 Smoky Eyes Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow:
- Nice shade for smoky look in one palette.
- Darker gunmetal shade can be used to line eyes or smoke out your regular kohl or liner pencil.
- The pinker shade could be used like an all over highlight shade for lighter skin tones.
- The silver shade could be worn alone on the lid to enhance and open up eyes.
- Smooth to use, good pigmentation.
Cons of Deborah Milano 4 Smoky Eyes Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow:
- Shimmer and slight fall out.
- This trio shade may not be too apt for warmer skin tones.
- Applicator is not of much use to me.
- The plastic container breaks my nails.
- The shimmer smears all over the inside of the palette.
- Needs to be packed on eyeshadow base to avoid shimmer mess.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Deborah Milano 4 Smoky Eyes Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow?
Not this color, but in some warm tones, yes. I prefer to use such shimmer/metallic shades in the evening and advice you to do the same.
